I'd love DJ Wilson in the first and Thomas Bryant in the second.

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

DJ Wilson, Rabb and Allen are probably the only three guys I would be upset if drafted at 17.

I'm very worried Wilson is the PF version of Henson, charmin two ply soft.

DJ Wilson is incredibly skilled though. Always seemed more like a SF than PF.

Unlike Henson DJ actually has an offensive game and potential on D. Rebounding however will be difficult for him. Either way enough a lot of up side with him mid way through the first.

To me a guy like Bolden seems better in every way to Wilson.

He does seem slight despite weight, but I watched a lot of Michigan and always came away impressed. Definitely way more skilled than Henson and he can actually shoot pretty well.

Henson comp is specific to softness not skill or game.

May as well complete the sh*t show trifecta for June.

-Choose a terrible name for your G-League team.
-Hire a an inexperienced puppet for the next GM gig.
-Draft a Jeff Schwartz client who has torn both his ACL's.

I don't want to get emotionally involved in this, and I also fully acknowledged my ignorance, so I don't want to sound too definitive.
But get $*#@%^* Hartenstein dammit!

I fully expect to get another kick to the nuts Thursday by picking Giles.

That would be something else if we drafted the one guy projected to go somewhere in the vicinity that we pick that's repped directly by Schwartz. 2015 - Schwartz client, 2016 - Excel, 2017 - Schwartz client. At least go back-to-back on the Excel client background for some plausible deniability. Not looking forward to Alex Lasry still trying to spin that the connection isn't the driving force behind a good chunk of their moves.

I went on record as saying there are some merits to all the Schwartz/Excel clients projected to go near where we pick this year, but Giles would be the most tenuous because of the injuries and lack of production thus far, IMO. There would be no way it was a coincidence we were the ones who could have just ignored that, in conjunction with our past history with Schwartz. No sense in pretending anymore. They aren't fooling anybody half paying attention that Schwartz and Kidd have major influence over personnel decisions here.

DX made an interesting case for Milwaukee's own son, Deonte Burton, of Iowa St. He's a unicorn. They're trying to make Dray Green parallels, but even they deviate a good amount. Green has a couple inches advantage in terms of height and arm length, is a better rebounder, and playmaker for teammates. But Burton is actually 30 pounds heavier, while still being a better athlete. His block and steal rates were better. And has a longer track record as a reliable shooter. Had a really strong outing at Portsmouth. Don't exactly what to make of him, but he's intriguing. Could be a guy who can hold his own protecting a rim and in the post against bigs, while they can't handle him on the perimeter. Rebounding #'s aren't bad if he was playing some at guard and small fw w/ Iowa St., but may need to be more engaged there to make it work ultimately.

That whole "floor is important" comment makes me think we're picking the other Schwartz guy in that range in Leaf. I wouldn't be upset. He can be Ersan like and that's not bad for #17

so if we dont take an excel or schwartz client what theory do we go with next? Bartelstein and make it the holy trifecta? Illuminati confirmed?
