Unless Cleveland plans to send Kyrie in return for Jimmy Butler, hell no. What are the Cavs going to offer? Skip Bayless said it best, Jimmy Butler is better than Paul George, JB is an alpha type player he will say get out of my way I'm taking the last shot. If JB couldn't co-exist with Rose and Noah, how the hell will he agree to go to Cleveland? Butler won't agree to that either, JB seems like the type of guy where he wants to be in Chicago rather than Cleveland.

I think this story is just an attempt by Cleveland's management to get LeBron to stay but I think LeBron is going to go to L.A with the Lakers or Clippers. That's just my opinion.

Tired of being Lebron's assistant and ready to run a team for himself, I suppose.

Only way Cavs can do this is if they trade Lebron to Celtics for all their picks. And then they use those picks to trade for Butler ... else, how would then get "many many many many high picks" ?

All about there being a 3rd team, but I don't see Love commanding more value than we can get for Butler straight up, so it's a head scratcher, and I don't think they' move Irving.

Maybe Lebron wants to do something really stupid to get Jimmy, and Griffin could not go along with the idea.

They should do Kyrie for Jimmy and rondo.

I also don't see how a 3rd team can help a trade to Jimmy involving Love. That means Bulls is not interested in Love (at least not if Jimmy is involved), and that is great news.

irving is not on the move. He has 3 years on his deal and is untouchable essentially. KL is. Irving is on record as wanting to play with jimmy and I bet bron wants to as well. we better get a king's ransom if The Butler is going to be serving in CLE.

I love Jimmy but I don't think he's a better fit for the Cavs than Irving is. I don't know where I'd begin to start theorizing what Griffin was putting together to offer us.

Why was he fired, especially at such a crucial time?

I don't think people are fully grasping how crazy the NBA is becoming. This is WWE storyline stuff.

Jimmy is a terrible fit for the Cavs unless he can become a volume 3pt shooter. With Irving and Lebron with the ball he would have to play more of a role player. Paul George would fit the Cavs better plus might be a good rental for them
