Why was he fired, especially at such a crucial time?

Jimmy is a terrible fit for the Cavs unless he can become a volume 3pt shooter. With Irving and Lebron with the ball he would have to play more of a role player. Paul George would fit the Cavs better plus might be a good rental for them

this might have more to do with personalities and less to do with basketball. KI and JB are basically brothers from all I have read. I think JB is one the most liked and respected players in the leage and appears to get along well with Bron. And he can put a body on Durant. Players are running the league now. they decide who goes where and the GMs execute the plan.

Dan Gilbert is now handling the trade. Shall we start the opening bid at Shumpert+Frye?

I don't see how in any way Butler becomes a Cavalier.

Jimmy is good, but he's not a good fit for Cleveland. It's not an improvement of the team they have now, this trade rumor suprise me

Shumpert is ready to become the face of the franchise, the question is are you ready to be shumped?!

Assuming Irving and Bron are off the table, what the hell do the Cavs have to offer.

They should just do a Melo trade and stop harassing FO's about their stars.

Unsure of the chance of CLE-CHI-PHX trade occurring with Griffin gone.

My "wish list" based of our rumored trade partners:
Boston - #3, either BKN 2018 or LAL/SAC pick, and Brown
Phoenix - #4 and Chriss (whom I think will be an all-star)
Minnesota - #7, Dieng, and Wiggins
I beg to differ

Why the hell would we help a central division team that is already stacked?

Why is it different to Bulls fans wanting to trade Butler to the Celtics? Who cares if they are in the same division, let alone the same conference. The point is, the Bulls are currently going nowhere, so we need to start rebuilding and if an Eastern Conference team provides us with the best offer, it would be stupid not to take it.

Plus, I'd prefer an Eastern Conference team win over the Warriors. I want to see them fail as much as I want LeBron to fail, if not more.
Why so serious?

Because there is no realistic way to beat the Cavs.

But, you can be second and then ready to take over the mantle in the East if you send Jimmy in a trade to Cleveland.

In fact, logically speaking, it's best to trade Jimmy to the Cavs. They desperately need help . .....and we shouldn't try to send Jimmy to a team that can be a headache for us along with the Cavs.

For example, Boston is impossible to beat if you send Jimmy there. Cavs are ALREADY impossible to beat. So, might as well send JB there.
For love, not money.

Who cares if the Cavs are in the central division, this ain't baseball. All that matters is the Bulls' future.
