At This point I don't even care who he takes. He already went full crazy.

Also he's likely to wait to the draft anyway and have the deal contingent on who the suns pick.

There's also the possibility the suns may make a trade to get Jackson if thats their guy to prevent the kings from jumping them.

Just trying to weave my way through the mess danny created

It's all nice and pretty sitting at 1. Welcome to our mess at 3-5. Been this way for weeks

I remember how this feels from last year. I wanted danny to trade pick 3 and he didn't and worse he picked brown who wasn't in anyone's projected top 7.

I haven't even bothered to get to know Tatum or Jackson or Isaac. It was fultz all the way.

Needless to say I needed a few recovery days. My own peers on my board are way more supporting of the trade than I am

My guess is the Suns are happy with any of the three wings. My gut actually tells me they prefer Isaac over the other two. He shut down his workouts after his second with the Suns and said he wouldn't work out with a team past 4. The only other team that worked him out was Boston. I think Jackson might be slipping, after blowing off workouts, not working out for teams, the off court issues, etc. You already wonder about his shooting and how that translates with the horrid FT%

I'd give him some credit. If he does walk out with Tatum, he might be the one laughing last. I might be higher on Tatum than some though and I do think he's exactly what Boston needs long term.

I'm guessing Ainge is happy with Jackson, Tatum or Isaac which is why he might trade down to 5, because one would be there. But I doubt anyone knows. Probably not even dozencousins.

Really you a Mod being sarcastic about me . You don't know me and you attacking me is uncalled for .
I doubt this is the type of nonsense a mod should be doing . You have something you want to say to me then PM me .

Maybe. They all could fit pretty well for them in different ways. If I were them I'd pick Tatum because he has star offensive potential and should play defense well enough to suit Ainge's demands on that end.

Danny said we needed more scoring so I was shocked to see him trade fultz for what many of us believe to be Jackson.

All for potentially pick 2 or 3 next year.

Yeah, there might be something to that then. I haven't been hearing much about Isaac or Tatum in regards to their workouts so there may indeed be something going on here.

Yeah, throw Bender in there with them and you have a nightmare lineup from 3-5 that can all shoot 3's and defend multiple positions with Chriss and Isaac. Booker could become the next James Harden if those guys get a consistent spot 3 down. That's an easy 3-5 more apg right there.

So much this. The idea that an insider has a source not only connected to your team but that the source also frequently has inside info on all the other teams in the league is one of the more glaring reasons why so many of us have "doubts"

Not a fan defensively next to Buddy and I think his game also translates to that of a volume guy on his best days. If the Kings were starting from ground zero and he was an option I'd be more open, but they aren't.

Yes, I love that lineup as well. They can all switch, block shots, hit 3s (Chriss and Bender haven't done it at a good rate yet, but I think they are capable). I think with those three, Warren as a traditional 3 and having one traditional 5 to hold down the frontcourt, they could avg 29 minutes each. I imagine the traditional C would get maybe 20-25 minutes and some of the others to get more. I'd love it.

By the way, I don't imagine you guys listened to the Vecenie podcast today, but it's interesting...they discuss our draft trade last year, and they both talk about your players and how they think you won the trade. Many Suns fans wouldn't agree, but I found it interesting as I follow the league as a whole. I'll find it if you are interested in hearing.

Ainge has already come out and talked about him naturally tilting towards defensive minded players. If there is 1 player to have concerns about defensively in the top 6 of this draft it's Fultz. He could always improve and certainly has more physical tools than him but I envision him as being a bit like Kyrie Irving defensively. It will be interesting to see how much a Fultz/Simmons combo scares teams on that end of the floor.

Return to Sacramento Kings
