what would jack bauer do? wrote:I hate the prospects that are rumored to be targeted in a D'lo trade... we're really selling low if that's true.

If we do unload Clarkson and Dlo, I would love to see us get Frank Jackson. IMO the guy is going to be a legit NBA player and possible allstar in the mold of a CJ Mccollum. He's going to be one of those head scratchers like Deandre Jordan in the 2nd rd if he really does get drafted in the 2nd round as projected.

Would be a great early 2nd round pick if we can buy one from 76ers or Boston.

They've played their hand already with Embiid posting Markelle Fultz pictures all over twitter.

If the Lakers trade DLo away for a 10-15 pick, then I'm done with this franchise.

I said the same if we trade him for the 3rd pick.

I might have to come over there and beat the **** out of somebody if it's 10 to 15. That would be ridiculous.

Yeah. He said the same crap last year as far as I remember.

Looks like we had it right all along that Dlo was on the trading block for another pick.. if I had to bet money on it, I think the Lakers and Philly had a deal on the 3rd pick and Dlo trade until Ainge came in with the number one and messed it all up.

Lakers failed attempts to get into the top 12 picks by offering up Dlo as trade bait is a sobering reminder of what DLo's value is around the league. Which is why I kept saying here we need to trade Dlo now before we can't get anything back for him next year. If Dlo continues to suck next year, then we won't be able to trade him based on "potential". After next year you can pretty safely gauge a players trajectory after three years in the league. If Dlo continues to be an inconsistent, 35% three point shooting, immature, slow, turn over machine then we won't be able to get a top 20 pick for him.. and will have to either sign him for cheap or let him walk for nothing... This is the year to finally right one of the biggest mistakes from Buss/Kupchak regime by trading Dlo now while he still has some upside...

Lonzo and Dlo will not work together .. overall, a two pg starting lineup has never worked.. to have a chance at being successful, Dlo would need to be mature and let lonzo run the team and offense... And we all know maturity is not one of DLo's strong suits.. I'm honestly not even sure Dlo has the foot speed to keep up with Lonzo pushing the ball. .one of the reasons why our offense struggles is because Dlo plays at a much slower tempo/pace than everyone else.. it's almost like the rest of the team gets down court in position and just waits for Dlo to catch up.. good pgs should be pushing it and forcing the tempo.. not trying to catch up to it...

Time to sell Dlo for what we can.. ideally it's a top 10 pick so we can still get Markannen.. the home run move would be to be able to get in a position where we can acquire Dennis Smith Jr for Dlo trade... Then take Josh Jackson with the 2nd pick.. then I think we would be walking out with the two best prospects in this draft..

Randomly browsing, but yeah. Fultz was on Instragram Live yesterday and Simmons commented asking if he found a place in Philly yet. Colangelo wouldn't say who we're drafting, but it's the worst kept secret ever.

The draft can't happen soon enough. These writers are getting antsy and are just writing anything.

yeah trading a 2-year NBA level PG and PF who are starting to understand the league for 19 year old who just got out of college would be absurd. it would be like setting back our young core's development for another 2 years. and i doubt paul george would be cool with that. if anything, trading dlo and/or randle would lessen the possibility of george coming to LA.
