Burton gives me that Jonathan Simmons vibe...the right team and the right situation might make him into something that someone would overpay for in his second contract or could be out of the league before his rookie deal is done.

Deonte Burton is an interesting option imo. With the way the Bucks invert their frontcourt and backcourt in some plays, he could be nice.

Cue up a bunch of draft speculation...

Also to those who like Giles, what differs him from Thon in his current state? Thon feels like he will be the better player with the limitations that Giles will have to play with.

I have mixed feelings on DSJ, but if you can somehow move up to get him, why not.

I just don't know how you move up enough to get that done.

How's everyone like Kuzma? Hasn't been too much talk about him here but he might end up in our range, his stock seems to be climbing.

I would love to see us try and trade for some of the sixers 2nd rounders or for a late first rounder. There is a lot of talent in this draft and we could nab someone who falls e.g. Tony Bradley, Terrance Ferguson. Low risk, high reward kind of players where maybe they turn into something special.

Fun player imo. I'd compare him to James Johnson.

I honestly think he will end up as the best player in this draft...

We are making our draft decision based on our roster in 1976

Who the hell knows. Just cliche GM speak. I don't think we will ever get a clear idea of what the plan is for the draft or for the future.

When you're picking somebody based on who you think they'll be in 3+ years, why would you do it based on your current roster? Only makes sense. This is baseline competency stuff but I don't take it for granted, so it's good to hear from Horst.
