We're trading away a player that was showing signs of huge promise once Lou Blackhole Will is gone and likely keeping the other offensive cancer blackhole Clarkson on the team.

I mean if this trade happened AFTER PG13 was secured for scraps, then i can sorta see the gambit.... but wtf.... LAL got taken to the cleaners so hard.

I'm like 95% sure Magic and Pelinka are gonna renege on this deal when PG13 to LA for scraps doesnt materialize.

Yes. I think they would have. Think the FO dangled DLo and they came to the realization that his value was relatively low.

If didn't already have Ball (likely our pick), I would be shooting for John Wall too. BUT alas, A core of Ball, Ingram, PG and Cousins sounds a lot better than one with Lebron. Sign me up for that.

Things I don't like:
Dlo is on track statistically to be quite good
27.... I wish it was closer to 20 (leaf)

Things I do like:
Dlo was frustrating, and the FO didn't like his attitude either.
His knee issues were scary for a guy that young and slow
Perhaps it's not lebron we are angling for in 18

There are two very obvious teams that would take on bad contracts.

Indiana and Brooklyn.

Two teams that aren't winning anything in the near future and would have been happy to take players like Clarkson/Randle, guys that can be mediocre young starters that we have no use for on our roster moving forward.

We dumped the 2015 #2 pick for an expiring contract and bench fodder.
