Yes, positives outweigh the negatives by far, if we invest in vets this summer instead of going all young blood I will agree with you

I dont care about the media bs, even if KP indeed hates this organization so much that he ends up getting traded we prolly end up in a better situation, we will see

Remember everyone here saying mid season we are such dysfunctional organization that prospects wouldnt even work out for us? Tell that to Fox and FN who talked about how much they would love to play here

There are some positives and I've always given credit for them. There's just so few of them it seems like I didn't

I don't know about going great, even if you're a glass half full fan. That's the reason I quoted you. There is just so many negatives and the needless drama never stops.

Can we be a normal franchise for an extended period of time?

Phil cajoled and needled all of his star players. He has more rings than anyone. He wanted to know what these guys were made of. We all found out.

Phil is not the coach. He's hardly around them to do that successfully.

Kristaps got involved in something he had no business getting into, and in the end it might cost him.

Carmelo isn't speaking up for himself when it comes to Phil, yet Kristaps wants to get involved? I guess he wasn't taught never fight/speak for a person that won't fight/speak for themselves.

What would Kristaps do if tomorrow Carmelo and Phil take a picture lounging and smoking cigars in Los Angeles?

I never said he will, I never said he won't. What Phil has done is inexcusable and he's been atrocious as a GM. Fact is, neither you, NOR I know how Mills will do as a GM. If he signs a player to the worst deal in the NBA and keeps all of his first round picks, congrats, he's done just as good a job as Phil. If he doesn't sign a player to a bad deal and keeps his picks, he's done better.

Fact is, Phil has been **** and needs to go.

While we're dealing with facts, let's accept the fact that Mills's is Dolan's guy and, while, we don't know how he'll do as a POBO, him being so easily influenced by Dolan isn't a good sign

Can we also accept the fact that Dolan has stayed out of basketball decisions for years now? Mills being Dolan's guy means nothing in terms of being a FO executive if Dolan stays out, and there is no reason to believe otherwise given recent history and how he's tried to stay out of the media for years. In addition, if anything, being Dolan's guy might give him a longer leash so we can have a proper rebuild, which is something Phil has half-assed since day 1.

I think we found out more about who PJax is than the players.

I wanted it to work. He's getting near Zeke levels with the circus stuff. Let's hope we clean this up

That is what the tease wants people to believe, but the person[Jeremy Schaap] that made the documentary said in an interview last week Kristaps didn't talk about it.

Depends on what he was looking to accomplish. KP is certainly revealing his character, that's for sure.

http://nypost.com/2017/06/14/most-famous-latvian-in-the-world-out-of-hiding-for-documentary/

Tucked away in his European homeland for the offseason, Kristaps Porzingis will be back in United States living rooms June 25, when ESPN airs an E-60 documentary on the Latvian’s life.

Jeremy Schaap is host and traveled last June to the seacoast village of Liepaja to spend time with Porzingis, his brothers and his parents. Footage was filmed in the house where he grew up (his parents still live there) and the Baltic Sea beach minutes away at which the 7-foot-3 forward spent relaxing times despite military detritus left over from World War II.

“He’s the most famous Latvian in the world,’’ Schaap told The Post. “From what I could tell in my few days there, they take a lot of pride in him.”

Schaap interviewed Porzingis’ parents, Talis and Ingrida, who spoke in their native tongue.

“I’m told the father gets crazy at the Garden,’’ Schaap said. “They have to calm him down the way he screams at the refs. He employs his Latvian so he gets away with it, otherwise it would be an ugly situation.’’

A 15-foot high hoop still stands in the backyard surrounded by grass, as the court has been removed. According to Schaap, the family salvaged an elevated wooden court from a fire and placed it in the backyard.

“The coolest thing is the hoop is still there — like from an Army surplus,’’ Schaap said.

The documentary addresses Porzingis’ cold war with the Knicks, in which he blew off his exit meeting with team president Phil Jackson because of frustration with the chaotic way the franchise is being run. The last scene was shot the day before Porzingis bolted for Latvia in late April at his Manhattan apartment complex.

“He just says he had his reasons,’’ Schaap recounted.

Maybe it's not about Melo...

Maybe he simply looked at Melo's situation and said to himself "fuq if they do that **** to me". Some people watch others and decide it's not for them. Phil literally threw Melo under the bus and went ghost.

Melo is on the way out. Who will Phil blame next? We all know he won't take responsibility if the team does poorly or if moves he makes don't turn into good ones. You can't blame and kick Melo anymore so who is it? KP in the back like "fuq if it's me, oh hell no"
