Raise your hand if you saw we traded for Dwight and assumed the 11 was gone.

Every hand should be raised.

I was expecting MKG and #11 to be gone and was ready to dive headfirst off my balcony

Don't underestimate Clifford.

this is going to be the ongoing discussion, I can't see Dwight being happy to come off the bench and he can be a bitch.

We all know Clifford's history with ancient players that used to play on winning teams.

I'm not worried about Dwight complaining about coming off the bench.

I'm more concerned with Clifford tryna play him 30 minutes because of what he used to be lol.

While I didn't expect this, I fully expected one of Marco or Lamb to get traded. All that talk about us targeting a wing and hearing about our pick getting PT doesn't add up with Marco and Lamb both sitting there. Something had to give.

Would be amazing to get Frank Jackson with that pick, I think he will be a top 15 player from this draft in the long run

My first thought was that MKG was involved. I didn't expect the #11 pick to be involved unless we were trading down for multiple picks.

What the hell just happened?

Now the Plumlee trade makes sense. It was just another contract to add to a trade, Apples and others hinted at it several times.

Clifford has been after Howard for ages. He finally gets his big, rim protecting center. I wish Ewing was still here (and I can't believe I and saying that). Ewing having a previous relationship with Howard would have been huge.

Lets hope he's motivated and that our lockerroom can get the best out of him.

Luckily we also have Cody, so its not like we'd need Howard to play 35 minutes. They can split 50/50 and both go hard during their minutes and we finally have some protection for injuries.

I wonder if adding a low post guy like Howard, and trading away Marco really paves the way for Kennard over Mitchell.

LOL we win this trade even if Dwight never even plays a game. We shaved a year of Plumlee's contract, and moving up to the 1st pick of the 2nd round while even dumping Bellinelli. There is literally zero downside to this trade. We don't have cap space until Dwight, Kemba, MKG, and Lamb all expire anyway.

I think there will be some good back-up PG´s in that 31 range. Jawun Evans (probably gone?)/Derrick White/Monte Morris?

Glad I saw the Woj tweet first, otherwise that Spears tweet would've first enraged me ("Bobcats") and then worry me (WUHDIDWEGIVEUP??!!???!).

I can't believe you guys unloaded a bad contract & got a rim protector. Good on Cho.

Either way, we seem to have plenty of bigs depth now. Cody will be happy to play 20odd minutes off the bench, hopefully they split minutes happily
