You may be right, but I hope not. I can't say I'd get excited about anyone else projected in that area, unless Markannen slipped to us. Luke Kennard is going to get ran out of the gym in the NBA, and Zach Collins is a stiff that will be a career bench big. If Mitchell is off the board at 12, I'd just swing for the fences on Harry Giles or OG Anunoby.

Inclined to agree with this... Just a complimentary player is not going to move the needle... Risk/reward is the best option to get out of mediocrity.

This is starting to get trickier. I think Fultz, Ball, Jackson, and Fox go in the top 5. That seems pretty safe. And Tatum is probably the other guy in there, but maybe Isaac sneaks in instead. But then? Eh... Starting with Orlando's pick the draft gets really unpredictable. Minnesota and New York after them are big wildcards too. I think Dallas is going with Ntilikina barring a someone really surprising dropping. Sacramento is going with a wing or PG at 10, whatever they don't get at 5. And then Charlotte most likely goes with a guard.

So with all that said, my prediction for the 12th pick two night before the draft is Lauri Markkanen.
