I really like this trade for the Hornets. The Hawks give up a pick upgrade for the right to take Plumlee for Dwight. And they even picked up Marco's salary as well. Wow.

If we plan to use our MLE that would put us into the luxury tax. I'd rather just use the MLE and keep the 31st pick, there are too many rotation quality players at that spot to trade it. And we have 8 guys on guaranteed deals with only the MLE to add someone. A pick and a player for another player would be too big a hit to our depth. We need to use both picks to add depth to the team.

Clifford has been after Howard for ages. He finally gets his big, rim protecting center. I wish Ewing was still here (and I can't believe I and saying that). Ewing having a previous relationship with Howard would have been huge.

Even if he doesn't perform at his career averages, we rid ourselves of that extra year of Plumlee and move up in the draft which basically cancels trading for Belli last season.

Just woke up, browse this forum and damn! I really thought we trade the 11st pick for Dwight. I don't really like Dwight, but to get him and moving up in the draft just for Plum and Rambonelli, i have no complain, at all.
