The Lakers are offering 27,28, Randle, and Clarkson (negative value) for George. An offer of 11, a future 1st, Marvin, and Sessions beats that deal.

We turned two bums into Dwight and moved up to the 31st 1st pick. I'm happy! Clifford will utilize Dwight correctly. 31 and a future 2nd could definitely move us up in the early 20s for teams needing an non guaranteed contract.

George isn't going to stay here.

That can't be the best offer they'll get.

I know, that's why I would stop at including MKG. It's too much for me.

Well...didn't see that coming. While I'm not quite as giddy as some here, I like the direction of the move. Howard is definitely a Clifford kinda guy. There will be no more boohooing from the front court. And it gives Kemba some protection defensively. I also like the fit next to Batum. Now need a shooter on the wing.

What adding Howard does is legitimize the Hornets as a force in the East. Can't argue with that kind of value, even at $46M for two seasons.

Maybe not. We need to get Batum level comfortable that he'd at least be open to it or I wouldn't do it.

He'd be turning down a ton of money to walk.

Turned on NBATV for a second, they started talking about the trade... entire segment from Hawks point of view. Figures.

My concern on Dwight is his willingness to do pick and roll. Cody is an elite pick setter, he is another reason why Kemba excels beside of Nic presence. Will Dwight does what Cody always did without pouting?

you had full faith in our drafting before the trade?

Trader Cho just needs to let the draft play out and fleece some sucker team for a future star.

i was thinking 31 might be used to trade for a backup point guard. Package it with Sessions.

Maybe Beverly as Fats suggested

Sessions and 31 for Beverley, seems to make a ton of sense to me.

Kemba/Beverley/Weber
Batum/Kennard
MKG/Lamb/Graham
Marvin/Frank/JOB
Dwight/Cody

Plus MLE on a 3D wing or combo

Kemba / ???
Batum / ???
MKG / Lamb
Marv / Frank
Dwight / Cody

We are finally getting out of the first round of the playoffs if we remain healthy!

I need the 31 for the KLove trade I'm proposing.

Go future 1st.

Kemba - Beverly - Briante
Nic - Graham
PG - Lamb
KLove - Frank - JOB?
Dwight - MLE

I desperately want to keep Cody. I'd only entertain trading him in a blockbuster to land Kemba a legit #1B two way scorer. Cody and Dwight are both injury prone. We need depth at center to play how Cliff wants this team to play.

What would be the best news ever would be Cody finally developing a 3pt shot. Every **** big man coming into the draft can make 3s. There's no reason Cody shouldn't be able to add some 3pt range this summer. I believe in him adding that shot before MKG.

Need more that 31 to get Bev, imo.

Normally I'd agree, but today rumors were floating around that Rockets were looking to trade him to a team that can absorb his salary in order to make a run at a free agent. Helping them clear salary +31, seems like a fair deal in that sense.

If this is a low key play on PG I will lose it.

The pieces are there now for a serious run. No way CHA stands pat with the wing situation.

I believe the same; more moves have to be around the corner. Its a contract year for Cho and he's operating with a win-now directive. Trading for 32 year old Dwight Howard makes that clear. Like most, I was terrified when I saw the headline regarding Dwight but elated to read that Cho pulled off the deal for nothing more than spare parts while offloading plumlee's corpse and bettering Charlotte's second round standing in the process. howard's on the downside of his career but is still a nightly double double threat and better rim protector than anything this team has had since Tyson Chandler.

It's a good trade for the Hornets. If nothing else because they were able to move up in the draft and shed Plumlee's contract.

As for Dwight, I'm not as optimistic as some of you. I think he has severe attitude and maturity problems. He has all the skills and tools but tends to be a drama queen who insists on resting on his laurels.
