I remember. We worked him out early, I posted his minute long youtube clip and asked who tf he is, nobody knew. What do you know about him?

Not much more. I have a weird feeling that we might draft him in the first though.

We've been conditioned to expect a shock. That would be next level arrogance, though.

That seems like some Bruno Caboclo **** more than Giannis.

Just trying to connect the dots as to why he's in this draft. He's gotten a bit more interest lately, but I think we were his only workout before the withdrawal deadline. Did we give him a promise? If so, would a mid second round pick be enough?

I would think so. I would think for somebody in his position, the implication that we'd be happy to pick him up for the Herd would be enough. He probably just wants to be a pro and is looking for a plausible path. Kind of odd that there's no digital trail indicating he's ever played in France. Would think somebody could have given him an Espoirs shot or a U20 team or something. Assuming there's something in his invisible backstory that explains it.

Played for the same prep school that produced Chris Boucher.

Super not interested in trading him. Would have to think more about it though, we finally have a legit prospect 3&D center with rim protection, hard to let that go.

If I know he's 20 there isn't anyone in this draft I would rather have. If I know he's 24 I'd do #6. I believe our FO must know his true age so that's why I'm making the distinction, don't start arguing about it please.

If there's any year to buy 2nds it's absolutely this year. If I was a billionaire with a B I'd be buying like 3 of them.

Does this imply that his promise came from someone picking in the top 11 since Detroit is at 12? That seems insane.

Maybe he got a promise from a team he prefers to play with later than the Hawks

Following the idea that the Bucks are reluctant to draft someone they haven't brought in, here are the 1st round prospects the Bucks have worked out privately...

T.J. Leaf (F, UCLA)

Derrick White (G, Colorado)

Tyler Lydon (F, Syracuse)

Ivan Rabb (F, California)

Jarrett Allen (F/C, Texas)

Bam Adebayo (F, Kentucky)

Justin Jackson (F/G, North Carolina)

Donovan Mitchell (G, Louisville)

I wonder if this includes pro days, and if so, who we've seen there. Giles for sure.

iirc Mitchell and Jackson worked out together. Pretty awesome situation, two of the better prospects in our range going at it.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
