Don't do it.

I don't like Zach Collins either. If they can't shoot NBA 3's I don't want that stiff whiteness.

They ain't Kristaps Porziņģis 2.0, they're Kelly Olynyk 1.1

My top 4 :

Justin Jackson
Luke Kennard
OG Anunoby
Semi Ojeleye

Still undecided on the order.

Rex vs Iggs is always the highlight of the Heat board. We don't get 1st round draft picks often boys, cherish these precious moments.

You're making a mistake in generalizing, I never liked Dekker, Kaminsky or Lyles

Leaf is neither

I think Luke Kennard going before 14 is really wishful thinking, I just don't see it.

My Mock:
1st: Fultz
2nd: Ball
3rd: Josh Jackson
4th: Tatum
5th: Fox
6th: Dennis Smith JR
7th: Issac
8th: Monk
9th: Lauri
10th: Giles
11th: Z. Collins
12th: D. Mitchell
13th: Ntilikina
14th: J. Collins

Obviously the one reach being Giles but considering he canceled his workout with us, it probably means that he got a promise from a team picking earlier than us. The order could change some but I think the top 12 is pretty much set give or take Giles, with Ntilikina being a wild card that could push someone down to us.

Here's a few things i find wrong with your mock draft in my opinion.

1. I believe the Mavericks are trying to get Frank Ntilikina so i doubt he drops past 9th. The Nuggets wouldn't draft Ntilikina anyways because they have a ton of guards right now.
2. The Hornets just traded for Dwight Howard and lost Bellineli, I believe they are looking for a shooter and Luke Kennard would be perfect for them.
3. I don't think John Collins is high up on our list to draft. I think we would draft Justin Jackson before John Collins. Even though i don't like both.

Giles canceling his workout with us is a confirmed report? that's pretty weird.

I think we'll have a few decent options either way, I doubt we can move up so I think our best shot is on a risky upside guy like OG Anunoby.

In every draft it always feels like if only we can jump just a few spots higher everything will work out great...

reality is it's probably a total crap shot between 12 and 18.

Just listened to Bill Simmons podcast with Kevin O'Connor of the Ringer. O'Conner has Mitchell going to Heat, but is high on him and thinks he should go higher. They pegged Marksmanen and Dennis Smith as the most likely to fall (Marksmanen for the deficiencies in his game, saying he plays like a wing that shoots threes so it doesn't matter that he is 7 feet) (Smith for the reason I posted here many months ago when scouting him: he doesn't try on defense). And Bill Simmons said:

Spoiler:
"Someone is going to fall to Miami and we're all going to be mad about it."

Let them go straight from high school or wait 2 year minimum college before being eligible for NBA draft :reporter:

Would not be shocked if we took TJ Leaf. Riley scouted UCLA personally this year.

https://www.sportsblog.com/heatdiehards/riley-scouts-lonzo-ball-at-ucla-standford-game/

Leaf went 15 10 6 that game. 5/8 with a three pointer. We have such a gaping hole at PF right now with only Mcbob under contract. I wouldnt like it but i'll give him a chance. I'll trust the organization

Riley and Spo like their bigs to be able to defend in the perimeter. TJ Leaf doesn't have the foot speed. John Collins is athletic enough but can not pass the ball (you can only have one poor passer in your frontline, Hassan) . I would keep an eye on Justin Patton. He has by far the biggest upside, quick feet and can dribble and pass a lil bit. I really think in any other draft he would be a top 7 pick.
