And Smith only fits if denver wants to push again. With what they are doing now i can't say he does fit.

Considering their style they might just trade down or out.

If already explained how jokic could be used uptempo. La lakers style in the 80s plus he can trail with the deep ball. But i doubt that happens

Do you ever do any research ? Denver was running at the 7th fastest pace in the NBA last year, tempo isn't a real issue for us.

The only way they'll trade out is if they get an offer they can't refuse or they feel they already have enough youth on the team with 6 player under the age of 23.

Now, now, Skywalker LOL Doing research isn't required on RealGM and we all have plenty of proof of that.
Not only was Denver "running at the 7th fastest pace in the NBA last year" but I think anyone watching the Kings would guess they probably need absolutely any good player. They have some nice prospective players, a couple pretty nice ones, but I'm not convinced any are proven yet.

WY, I just don't care for bad manners and I've seen my share from IBL here.

I realistically only want 1 of 3 provided we don't trade out (although trading down would be ok if we still got 2 or 3)

1. Zach Collins
2. OG Anunoby

3 John Collins

Totally understand - and I'm less fond of John Collins, but I'm not opposed to him.
I wouldn't mind trading up, but I doubt we can get high enough to make a big difference.
I wouldn't mind trading down, if we get a 2-for-1 (maybe adding a 2nd to our 13).
One thing we can't do is sell a 2nd for cash like we did last year. We're already at the limit for that this year.

My prediction is that we trade up using one of Chandler or Faried and get Zach Collins, and trade Barton to get a late 1st and future 2nd round pick to draft Derrick White.

Take it for what it's worth, but someone on a different forum I read who's seemingly pretty plugged in with the Wolves said that they're looking to move their pick because thibs doesn't like any of the players that might be on the board at 7. If issac makes it that far, a trade up situation might be feasible.

My prediction is that the Nuggets "actively" talk to teams but don't find the "right" deal and take a project big man at 13

I know I'm late to the party but man really hope we end up with Collins. Anunoby scares me a bit cuz he won't be able to play this year and who knows how he'll recover. If not, I really hope we trade up, I want to see some action this summer. Nuggets need a guy that gets the fan base excited either Draft or FA. Jokic and Murray will keep Den fans interested but we need a home run guy.....

Maybe even take a gamble on Ferguson

I hope we get Collins too but I don't think he's going to be an impact rookie like Murray right away.

I doubt anyone we draft at #13 will play much this season.

I can see Collins playing like Hernangomez, just for injuries early, then working his way into the end of the rotation by March.

Collins needs some SERIOUS time in the workout room, he'll get pushed around by bigs in the NBA. I love his potential but he's definitely 2-3 years out from being a guy who'll make a true impact, but when he does, LOOK OUT !!!

Most rookies do not make a good impact at all, even last year Hernangomez was the closest of the rookies to being a positive at a -1.7 pm. the thing is you want to see him start getting some in game experience, start seeing what you have in short bursts, and when he works his way into the rotation great. I think he may do better than the experts predict, he is not going to be a superstar right awa, but if he stays in his role and doesn't try to do to much he will be okay.

I thought Murray had a positive plus/minus and I know that Beasley's was the best on the team for his limited minutes.

Watched NBATV's mock draft last night. The first 10 picks had some shockers IMO. Do these guys just do that to make waves? Or do they really believe that garbage? They talk about team needs, etc. but their picks make little sense sometimes.
and then came #13, What happened? Denver front office/head coach/most fans have all been talking about defense and rim protection next to Jokic and quickness and so on; they picked Markkanen for Denver? :noway:  :nonono: :banghead:

I have been thinking, I would be happy if we left tonight Murray, Harris, Jokic, and HErnangomez. I have no interest in trading those guys for a 1 or 2 year rental.

I really did not want the Trailblazers to get Collins.
