Boston has all the assets in the world, but they can't waste cap space after making the ECF last year, and the Knicks have to clear out terrible contracts if they want any flexibility in the future. Offer something along the lines of #4 + Bledsoe + TJ for KP + Noah with room to negotiate. They get JJ, a really good PG in Bledsoe, and a versatile forward in TJ all while losing Noah's mistake of a contract; we add a young star in Porzingis that fits our team like a glove.

Love the trade! Who plays SF if Warren is part of the trade?

1. Trade Bledsoe, Knight, Dudley, #4, both Miami picks to Knicks for Melo and Porzingis.
2. Sign Chris Paul.
3. Holy ****.

They can easily match salaries in a trade

Porzingis + Lee for Crowder + Bradley + pick 3 plus future 1's

They can't take Noah which is what the Knicks want to shed.

Porzingis + Noah for Zellar, Bradley, Crowder , Pick 4 and Future 1's works

The Suns can probably figure out a way to totally take on all of Noahs contract without shedding others. Granted, that could mean trading Bledsoe and Tyson Chandler

I think Knight is going to be our 1 next year - I hope his Instagram photo was meaning he is going to be ready next year

Hard pass on Melo. F%^ that. I actually want to like the players on this team. They don't need an aging, fat ball-stopping cancer.

Sure, it works but it kills off Boston's financial flexibility while decimating their depth. I don't think they would ever do that deal.

I guess I'm just more shocked than anything that such a scenario is at least imaginable. Paul-Booker-Melo-Zinger-Chandler w/ Ulis-DJJ-Warren-Bender-Chriss? Whoa. Not well calibrated or even well thought out, but whoa.

IDK, we have the capspace to take on Noah, someone they really wont be able to dump on another team. The Knicks would also be sending him out of their conference AND division.

And who knows if Jackson is really Phils guy. I also like our young players and assets a hell of a lot more than what Boston is offering up. Seriously, who is their best young players? Smart? Brown? I dont even see Celtic fans offering them, i see names like Bradley and Crowder and Rozier being thrown around. Bledsoe/Warren/Chriss/Bender are all more valuable in my eyes.

Our best friend could be Gordon Hayward right now. If he's Boston bound they can't take on Noah's contract. They could try to send out Zeller and Crowder to create room but Noah is too much. Plus they may need to pay IT next year.

Hayward or not they can't afford to eat Noah's contract. That is the Suns only real trump card, beyond having the best immediate help in Bledsoe.

They're 30m under the cap and can probably send back Zeller saving another 8m. Prevents any max deals in FA though.

I seriously will be so sad if we lose out on Porzingis and JJ in the draft because of the Celtics. I still can't believe we ended up with the 4th pick, but getting Porzingis would make up for it.

And that is why they can't eat Noah's deal. If they can get Porzingis without that they still can sign Hayward and won't go crazy into the luxury tax to re-sign Isaiah next year.

A roster of IT, Porzingis, Brown, Hayward and Horford could give Cleveland a run for their money if they don't first implode.

They want to sign Hayward or trade for Butler. Boston is not a threat here, imo.

A legendary Laker coach helping Boston would seem wrong.

yeah!!!! Keep up the positive vibes!!! lol seriously though I am worried. I agree with you, but if Phil is stupid enough to trade him, would he care where he goes?

You know what? Yes, actually he would care. I am now under the belief that Phil is just super emotional and idiotic when it comes to PLAYERS but still understands Basketball. So he will choose to exile that horrible, offensive, miscreant Porzingis to the desert....(hear me phil?)

They can have either Chriss or Bender, keeping both would be kind of redundant. Just get a deal done.
