They could just as easily draft Tatum and continue to develop the core they have

And Ainge loves to accumulate picks more than trade them. :D

But they can't pile them up forever you know, theres not gonna be enough playing time for all the lottery picks to develop and increase in value. He is sitting on too much picks already. Celtics can blow the league up with blockbuster trades and be a serious contender with what they can assemble

At the end of the day, Phil will show KP, that he values him more than these offers. KP will feel better but more responsible for his actions.

And the guys (Chriss etc.) mentioned in trade talks will be pissed as hell.

You know how sometimes there is a procedure done and they find another thing?

"Well, we went in and removed your Phil Jackson, but there were some complications. There was an Isiah Thomas underneath it"

Or it could be healthy tissue. :dontknow:

You can't stay in an abusive relationship because you're afraid of the next one.

I just like the mental image of a small, slimey Isiah Thomas curled up there after the Phil tumor is pulled out.

Let's say it's #4 (Jackson) + Bledsoe + Chriss + 32nd Pick in this draft for KP + Noah...

Happy or mad?

it was said they want a team to take noah. way to devalue another asset phil. good job.

imo we need to clearly win any trade, cause 1. we're giving up the best player in the deal and 2. our hand is not being forced in any way. it cant be an even trade, it has to be one in which an impartial says damn they overpaid for kp. anything less and i give up on this team.

ps im a proponent of keeping him

i don't even want booker. moving him to boston is impossible, because as another poster said, if we're trading him in-division it is unacceptable for us to take anything less than a king's ransom which ainge won't be willing to provide. the lakers already traded russell, whom they'd have to include in any trade along with #2 and randle. i really don't think we're moving KP guys. as ugly and annoying as this sort of behavior is from jackson, it's not an unprecedented relationship for him to have with his top players. doesn't necessarily mean anyone's getting the boot

we all know that Phil's M.O. is to attach a negative asset in a trade so that we get less back...that's the Phil special

A little happy. Like winning $5,000 scratch off and then getting kicked in the nuts.

Does that dude even have a verified check next to his name? Who is he? That trade would be awful. No Booker, no deal...and I don't love it with Booker.

I wouldn't be happy about it, but if Phil traded KP, and then made a troll video of himself working the phones to a music soundtrack similar to one KP did working out, and put in on instagram/twitter the epic trollishness and douchbaggetry of it would be something to see.

I mean, if the Knicks are going to be laughingstock, might as well be all in.

Booker and four or bust

Why kill porzingis value by attaching Noah? Trade melo for an expiring and there is max room with Noah next offseason

That package is not enough to trade a future 7 ft 3 star
