Uhh.. have you seen this 7"3 white dude who won all-star skills challenge, whos super weak but still is extremely good on BOTH ends? Booker is a chucker with worse shooting% than this 7"3 dude, just imagine if this white dude grows into his body and gets strong... holy F**K!@
Skills challenge is a gimmick, like Nate winning the dunk contest only not as translatable to actual NBA play. His offense isn't "extremely good" It's "Good with potential for extremely good". Agree he's good on defense.
You're right, they all let him out run, outshoot and outdribble them

He's overrated. He scored 70 in a meaningless game with a loss.

its a romanian deadlift and hes clearly doing do it for strength endurance, higher reps lower weight, versus power or strength. also the dude is huge and biomechanically hes at a great disadvantage for dead lifting because of his limb length so heavy deadlifts from the ground would put him at a much higher risk of injury and not giving him much more benefit. you should be crediting the knicks strength and conditioning staff for taking good care of him instead of mocking the amount of weight you THINK he should be doing
edit: sorry replied to the wrong person, meant to be directed at toholewithsoul
He's a professional athlete. if I'm correct that he is in fact deadlifting two 45lb plates with a 45lb bar, that's kinda pathetic by most standards.
again refer to my previous post. i think i explained it pretty clearly. hes a pro athlete, not a professional weight lifter. he needs to train to increase athleticism in relation to the demands of basketball, not to pack on muscle and look good.
edit: again look to noah syndegaard when he was left to his own devices to train....
I can read, I assure you, but we disagree. in any resistance exercise, the resistance has to be sufficient to be beneficial. No one is saying he needs to be deadlifting 500lbs, but 135lbs is pretty paltry for a lower body exercise. I don't want to belabor this..it was just a passing observation, no big deal. You have your opinion and I have mine.

His defense consists of blocking shots.
His man defense is not good.

Nah, lets get the one dimensional player who can drop 70 in a loss and is a sieve on defense

His man defense is not good.
His switching is bad and sometimes late, his man to man defense is elite (due to length)

IF he's anyone on this list, it's Ralph Sampson, who never truly panned out in the NBA as expected, but had a few good years before injuries took a toll on his gangly frame.
Just for arguing sake
