Literally not a single item you listed contradicts the criticism made of him on this thread. That he's a good/very good scorer who doesn't create for his teammates and is a horrible defender.

He needs to work on his defense.
His passing is more in line with him being asked to score, but yes he should work on his passing. However, make no mistake dude is a pure scorer and that can be built on.

Dude is a year younger than KP

greenie you probably love him because he's cute right

He looks like a baby. Nah.
I love scorers.

Let's see...

- Booker became the fifth-youngest player in NBA history to record a double-double behind LeBron James and few others.

- Booker became the third-youngest player in NBA history at 19 years, 81 days old to record a 30-point game, as well as the youngest Suns player to score 30 or more points in a game. LeBron James and Kevin Durant are the only two players who were younger than Booker to score 30 in a game.

- The following day, he competed in the NBA All-Star Weekend's Three-Point Contest, becoming the youngest contestant to ever participate in the event and only the fourth rookie to compete in the 30-year-old contest,[80] joining Stephen Curry (2010), Kyle Korver (2004) and Dennis Scott (1991).[81][82] He made it to the final round of the event, beating out both James Harden and J. J. Redick in a tiebreaker event after the first round, where he finished third behind the Splash Brothers – Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson (winner).

- Booker recorded his second-straight 30+ point game (third in a week and fourth overall at the time) by setting a new career-high with 35 points in a game vs the Denver Nuggets,[87] joining LeBron James as the only teenagers in NBA history with back-to-back 30+ point games.

- On April 9, with 16 points scored in a 121–100 win over the New Orleans Pelicans, Booker reached 1,014 for the season, making him the fourth-youngest player to reach 1,000 career points, following only LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant, as well as the third-youngest during their rookie season.

- Two days later, also in Mexico City, Booker had a second straight 39-point effort in a 108–105 win over the San Antonio Spurs,[112] becoming the youngest player in NBA history to record consecutive games of 39 or more points in the regular season.

- With 31 points against the Milwaukee Bucks on February 4, Booker became the youngest player to score at least 20 points in 16 consecutive games. Booker did it at 20 years, 97 days. His 16-game streak is the second-longest by any first-year or second-year player in the last 20 seasons—Vince Carter had a 23-game run as a second-year player during the 1999–2000 season

- On March 24, Booker became the sixth player in NBA history to score 70 points in a game, accomplishing the feat in the Suns' 130–120 loss to the Celtics at TD Garden. Booker joined Wilt Chamberlain, David Robinson, David Thompson, Elgin Baylor and Kobe Bryant as players to reach 70 in one game.

- Booker, 20, became the youngest player to score 70 (or even 60) points in a game.

- With 21 points against Dallas on April 9, Booker passed Kobe Bryant to move into fourth place on the NBA scoring list of players before their 21st birthday with 2,774 points, trailing only Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant and leader LeBron James.

Very good. That bum Phoenix reporter can kick rocks.

So far is the key phrase.

If we get #3+ 1 of the Nyets or La/Kings picks + crowder I'd be ok.
My preference is not to trade him. But Phil seems like a grumpy old man who thinks this "kid" is an insubordinate and is going to teach him a lesson.

If we play our cards right and hopefully Melo decides to join Bron in Cleveland then we should also have a top 5 pick.

Next year at the top of the draft there are some good big prospects. I am specifically looking at Deandre Ayton.

After next draft we could have

C Ayton
PF 2018 Top 5 Knicks Pick
Sf Josh Jackson
Sg Lee
PG 2017 #8 pick

I wouldn't mind that at all.

I really can't understand how we trade KP. The haul would have to be amazing and I haven't seen much that makes sense. I still feel his potential is limitless. The only issue I see is that the Knicks don't seem to develop young players well. Maybe that's factored into their thinking and they are looking for more of a sure thing.

But damn I'd be hurt if we trade KP and he becomes a monster and we don't have a monster from that trade.

Why can't we keep KP and just draft at 8?

I feel like these Talks are Melo driven and we are just looking to build one last time around Melo instead of losing him for BS.

Then Dolan should fire Phil asap. Kristaps is better than any player in this draft and many drafts before it. The whole point of tanking is so you get enough bites at the apple to get a Kristaps. Philly have been in the lottery for years and not a single player they've gotten is better than KP.

I dont see this happening but I see a potential move with Melo considering the Spurs want to move LMA. If we could get involved in a LMA, Melo , Love three way deal that would be awesome

Funny that Phil mentioned how many pictures there are of KP on the Internet. Indeed. Translation: He has time for self-promotion but not for checking in. And he's right.

The season is over. KP can do whatever he wants with his free time (in this case it's some self-promotion and a lot of work in the gym).

The season is over, but he's still under contract. If he has the time to tweet and Instagram, he can pick up the phone and talk to the coach and president of the team and strengthen things out. It probably won't even take long and he can go back to tweeting and stuff as he wishes.

The fact that he hasn't yet is why i have my reservations about his maturity level.

With that said, Phil is in the wrong by pouring gasoline in an open flame by his comments. What he said yesterday and as of late should of never been said in public. Leave your criticisms behind closed doors. If he wants players to trust him now and in the future, he will have to start exhibiting professionalism.

The season is never really over for NBA players. When they're under contract. When you're a free agent, you can do whatever I guess.

Maybe it is just a hoax, smoke and mirrors etc. Surely Dolan would fire Phil before sanctioning a KP trade?

Some of these reporters remind of my old block as a kid. A bunch of old stay at home women hanging out the window looking for anything to gossip about.

That would depend on the potential return, no?

Return to New York Knicks
