The Chicago White Sox

- I pretty much saw this coming, but I didn't think they would be this bad. A fairly old team that had everything that could go right, went right in 2005. Since then, it's been all downhill.

St. Louis Cardinals

- Again, I saw this coming too, but they've been worse than expected. Which makes me happy and only validates that their run last postseason was nothing but a fluke after a .500 season in a bad divison.

J.D. Drew, Boston Red Sox

- Who DIDN'T expect this one?

Does Rickie Weeks have some chronic wrist problem, or am I thinking about somebody else?

It's supposed to be 100% healed by 2008.

It's not chronic. He hit it in the dugout doing that stupid bat wave last year. :nonono:

Ehh, they've been pretty close to what I expected. Throw in all the injuries, and it's a small miracle that they've won as many games as they have.

We had a nice run, culminating in a championship. I'm not sure how you can call it a fluke. You make the playoffs every year, and sooner or later you're going to win them. The postseason is a crapshoot, and we were due to break through.

Chris Carpenter is out for the year, the guy is former Cy Young Award Winner and a top 3 pitcher in the NL. With the rest of the other injuries, its no wonder why the Cards are struggling

Kei Igawa. It seems like the Yankees just signed him in hopes of him outpitching Matsuzaka to make the Red Sox signing him for so much more look foolish. They couldn't have really believed he was an MLB caliber pitcher with the (lack of) stuff and command he has.

Moises "Pee Pee Hands" Alou has been a bust for my Metsies this year.

Shawn "DP" Green has been a bust as well.

I can't wait untill Thrilledge and CarGo replace these two bums.

Carl Pavano has not only been a bust in 2007, but also in 2005, 2006 and 2008.

well in Yahoo! fantasy he's a bust

only 14 HRs, and no wonder he's getting on base with the crappy hitters hitting after him.
