i don't want to see KP go and I don't think he's going anywhere, but I'm not going to be mad if Phil pulls the trigger on a load of picks and young players.

Go to the Celtics board for details. Nothing to see here move along. So with the 8th pick the Knicks select..

5 hours till the draft. decision will come down to the wire.

Unless they are trading back, what do the Celtics have to get #7?

Makes no sense, If Celtics are serious about KP, and the Knicks are serious about trading him, they already have the assets they need to get him. Knicks would be dumb to say fine we'll take #7 and you can keep the Brooklyn and Lakers picks

It's going to be Jackson Frank and Monk of that BOS deal is true.

Make it DSJ instead of Monk and it's more appealing

Phil needs to tell KP that it's simply due diligence, and that he was realistically never going to trade him, because th asking price was too high.

exactly, easy fix imo. say: I wouldn't be doing my job for the Knicks IF I didn't listen to offers. Look, they had to be willing to give up the farm to even get into the conversation. If we didn't value you, we wouldn't have asked for the kitchen sink too

Nope. I want the #7 Minny pick also, that's being talked about.

#3 this year, #7 this year, Nets pick next year + Jaylen Brown

If Boston refuses, oh well. We keep a legit superstar prospect.

Do any of you guys watch Shark Tank?

Sometimes, a person will come on and their valuation/demands are pretty nuts, and it is clear that they don't want to make a deal. They are just there for the massive publicity. Cuban calls them "Shark Tank Gold Diggers"

I think that is what Phil is doing here.

i'm still in the camp that all this is to remind kristaps to get off his high horse and remember that phil, and not his brother, controls his fate.

kristaps is sweating right now, he's 21 and will not know until tonight.

I don't know if posted but pjax should take this and run. Fast

Edit: if it's the nets pick

That's got to be 10 from Sacramento, no?

NM - I guess it could be something down around 14,15 too.

Yeah we better get a kings ransom from a division rival. **** it. If it doesn't work out, then whatever. We better have two lottery picks next season if this deal happens.

I don't have a problem with it, if he straightens things out with KP

Wow. Knicks could do some damage in this draft picking 3,7,8.

When is Ainge actually going to try to win a championship? It just feels like he's never going to do it. Regardless of what they think of KP he can't get any other star players?

there's nobody in this draft anyone feels is a guaranteed all-star.....so yes, let's have 3 picks in it
