i don't know but i've seen so many times perimeter or bigmen (like Porzingis or even our own Randle) murdering Draymond Green off the dribble, but then people tell me he's the best defender in the league. I just don't understand. MWP was the best ever and people wasn't consistently murder him off the dribble even in his last season.

there was a reason why Iggy guarded LeBron in 2015, that was because LeBron can do anything vs Dray in first few games

If Randle had enough traction to get us into the lottery, we would have used him to dump Mozgov.

Nobody "consistently murders" Draymond off the dribble. Sounds like your mind is playing tricks on you.

The reason Iggy guarded Lebron was to keep Draymond in the middle, because Draymond was 11th in the NBA in blocks this year and was the team's best rebounder whenever he was playing center, which was the majority of that series. He's more valuable in the paint than anyone else in the Death Lineup is and it's not even close.

Yeah the only way we get there is to trade down.

Lonzo + Ingram ---- This might the weakest backcourt weaklings in the NBA !!!! Lakers' trainer will have his hands full trying to get these string beans stronger to endure the physical play in the NBA.

Don't worry we have the hollywood booty trainer of Kim K. Ingram is going to be thicker than a bowl of oatmeal in a season.

This should allow us to play Krandon at the 4 when we go small.

Take lonzo and call it a day. Just have to get through the next few hours without magic overpaying for George.

Interesting thought... I guess that depends if RealGM goes dark again. I'm all for it.

Ok, now I don't think you've watched either player... Green is a great role player on a great team. PG is a individual star.

PG may not be as good as say a KD, or a Westbrook, but he's clearly better than Draymond Green.

If you think PG is better than Draymond, you don't understand basketball. I don't know how else to put it. Dude's the most versatile player in the league, arguably the best defender in the league, one of the best passers in the league, one of the best rebounders at his size that I've ever seen, a great finisher, and a decent 3-point shooter that's best used at center. You may not understand all of this just by watching him, but I'd take him over PG 100 times out of 100.

We're getting off-topic though. Any team that Magic/Pelinka could put together, even stretching the bounds of reality a bit, would get swept by the Warriors for the next 5+ years.

Green has zero pressure. Has he ever been double teamed in his life? Anyone can pass and hyper emphasize if there isn't any effort in preventing a player from doing so. PG has spent his entire career being focused and game planned for.

This is absurd.
