Here comes the Deja Poo.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

The Astros youth is really impressive.

Welcome to the club, Martes & Fisher!

Finally a Derrick Fisher in Houston who is not offensive!

Martes has some filthy stuff, I really hope he can be consistent because he looked awesome the other night. With half our rotation on the DL we really need him.

Fisher optioned back to AAA with Reddick set to be back tonight. The kid looked good in his time up, hopefully that will just build his confidence for when he gets another shot down the road...or increase his trade value if we go after another arm?

Astros offense is here today!

11 through 5 1/2. Is like them to spread those around some other games!

I think that he's being shopped. I don't think that was a showcase call up, but the timing was perfect for just that.

If Springer has to miss some time after getting hit on the hand today we might see him back up pretty quickly. Hopefully that is not the case though.

Good news, could have been much worse:

Also, cool to see he only needs one more leadoff HR to break the franchise record!

So happy that Springer is OK!

It is amazing to see that he's approaching the MLB lead-off homer record this early in the season!

WOOOO! Another 9pm start on a Saturday night. Ugh.

Well, if I start drinking NOW, I might be able to time it so I pass out early enough today to get a decent rest in and wake up for round two and watch the game.

Sounds like a plan!

Ugly start for Martes today, and no idea what's going on with this crew calling the game. Was he out or was he safe, inning over or not?

Get it together, fellas!

Also, I miss you Todd Kalas. Kevin Eschenfelder makes me want to stab my ears with a spork.
