Fans of other teams popping in here for the past couple of days, acting like the Knicks should be happy that anyone is offering them anything for KP.

"The call him a unicorn because he had a deposit of minerals and cartilage built up on his forehead as a kid that the doctors had to surgically remove, not because he's good at basketball or anything. You're asking way too much."

Begley:

The Phoenix Suns remain in active pursuit of Kristaps Porzingis, league sources tell ESPN. Phoenix, like other teams who have contacted the Knicks, have mostly come away with the impression that it will take a monumental package to land Porzingis. The Boston Celtics have also discussed a deal for Porzingis with New York. Sources told ESPN that one proposal centered around the No. 3 pick and an additional top 7 pick that Boston would acquire tonight, along with a player. Phoenix's offers for Porzingis have included the No. 4 pick, Dragan Bender and Marquese Chriss, per sources.

All this craziness for nothing. We are just sitting at #8 and taking Frank or Monk.

Where do you think Bender + Chriss would go in this draft? Outside the lotto right?

How many of those prospects skipped exit meetings with a GOAT-level basketball mind and didn't pick up or return calls?

Everyone talking about Knicks and Celtics. Meanwhile, Phil is on the chessboard securing KP's replacement: Lamarcus Aldridge.

I'd consider Brown, 3 and 7 for KP.

Not enough for Phil to consider that offer I would bet.

Chriss and Bender just aren't that exciting.

I'd prefer #13 if the Suns get that.

#4, #13, Bender OR Chriss for Noah + KP!!!

No it doesn't. This is where fans of other teams, and the media in general, shows their stupidity.

This looks nothing like an Anthony Davis return, because Anthony Davis isn't being traded.

Just because you're too bitchmade to meet the price doesn't mean it's too much. Players with KP's profile are generally not even for sale, so the idea that there's a set price for them, or that you can make a linear progression on his value from lesser players that were previously traded, is a pretty dumb stance to take.

Phil wants that 2018 pick though as well.

What other "young anchor player" pisses off the front office by ignoring them while having proven jack ****?

Uh so the response is to float his name in trades? Do you not see how absurd that is? I am not here to be team KP; I am here to be team anti Phil's front office. His entire tenure has been filled with commissioning hit pieces on his own team/players that just left the team. How is that even defensible?

Knicks don't leak now. Woj is pulling this from his ass. But of course he has a 50/50 chance to be right and no one will notice anyway.
