He's already in a big hole, how many PGs with a 7 PER rookie season turn into great players.

It's happened, but has to be minimal odds.

Exactly. I'll be fine watching Dunn, LaVine, Denzel, Zipser and Bobby play consistent minutes.

They'll probably keep Rondo because Rondo spoke up for Hoiberg. lmao

Three high picks later with no positive development would upset me. I'm fine with it. This is how you get out of NBA hell.

NBA hell is also churning through high draft picks and young players and not making any meaningful progress.

Meh, at least it'll be a different level of NBA hell. Constantly shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic to sneak into the playoffs and get blasted by any actual contenders (if the Bulls even survive the opening round) has gotten real old.

Well, we loved LaVine in Minnesota, so I hope he lives up to his full potential and becomes a dominant scorer in this league.

It looks like you guys will start the rebuild this season (well, next...D WADE!), but you already have a great piece in LaVine, and two solid pieces in Dunn and #7.

What an awful pick. I legit hate GarPax.

Paxson told Butler that if a team called with a trade proposal that was stacked in the Bulls’ favor, the front office would explore it.

3 weeks later:

Zach Lavine + Kris Dunn + #7 were stacked because Lavine has a torn ACL, and Dunn joined the glut of young crappy PGs alongside Jerian Grant and Cam Payne.

VERY stacked offer. YUUUUGE!!!

I don't know the numbers, but Chauncey Billups and Mike Conley come to mind as uninspiring rookies.

You say that now. Wait until we're getting boatraced by 30.

If you think that is a quality young core, you are sadly mistaken. Even good young cores don't win. And we have a bad young core.

i think we will be like knicks for the next two or three years with this garpax playing for nothing i hope wade will take his player option just to kill this front office , because they don't know what to do , i think we have a big chance to compete for championship if they put a good team around butler and a good manager not who start his nba coaching and is a weak personality , i love chicago but this front office destroying every thing , next season i will watch chicago game but did not expecting more than 20 win , and i will watching Minnesota game because of jimmy .

thank you jimmy for every thing . f**k you garpax just leave chicago .

I love that Thibs didn't want another rookie as a key component, but went after a win now move.

Bulls could learn from this, when you have a good team, push the chips in.
