3 and crowder for Butler

No #16 involved. Just curious

That offer sucks.

But it is better.

Yeah I'm aware you guys thought it sucked I was just curious if you thought it was a better Package. But by all accounts ainge didn't even have it on the table.

Patton will haunt us just like Aldridge did. Book it.

We don't know what's next. The offseason isn't done yet. One thing I do know....Butler has actively tried to resist / fight 4 important power centers that were drafted/hired by GarPax:

1) Rose
2) Noah
3) Fred
4) Rondo

My bet is that we do all we can to also get rid of Wade.

No, don't deflect the question.

You've had 13 years to judge this front-office. What is your opinion on them.

Challenging John Paxson's resume is an exercise in futility. In a league where championships come in bunches from elite talents, the Bulls have been highly competitive for a while. Paxson in particular gets credit for that.

Only time we were ever competitive was when we lucked into Rose.

Hardly something one should get credit for.

Anyways, atleast they picked a lane and stopped being half-pregnant. They never had the balls to go all-in to spend on vets and build a over-the-cap team which requires creativity, lots of trades etc...

Could not agree more, this is why I've been saying that with this direction, lack of assets received from the trade, that this will sink GarPax and maybe, just maybe the Bulls can get a stable and competent executive that will oversee the long rebuild. Because this is going to take YEARS IMO.

Yep exactly. And LeBron will be past his prime..For us, best case scenario, we draft Michael Porter next year + other studs in 2019, 2020. Then make a run for Anthony Davis in 2021. Like I said, best case scenario :D

We gotta be really bad. Decline Rondo, buyout Wade, trade Lopez, let Niko walk and tank tank tank. Michael Porter Jr. is worth going 9-72 for and that's what it's going to take.

Pelton's trade grade: MIN A+, Bulls F. That about sums it up.

Lord, give me the courage to deal with stuff that I can't change and fight against stuff I can.

And the wisdom to know the difference between the two.

That's kind of what I think about the Bulls organisation ( inclusive of GarPax).

I'm really fine with this deal. Yes LaVine is coming off an ACL injury but most guys come back just fine from that. Also he's a pretty decent shooter which helps. Dunn had a bad rookie year but some had him as a possible #1 pick last year. Give him some time to figure things out. You get an intriguing prospect in Lauri Markkanen. In addition, this means the Bulls should be bad next year and that will result in another high draft pick. I didn't like that they gave up #16 but it is what it is. I'm not that mad with this trade.

For tanking purposes I agree. There's certainly no point in "developing" them, we know they can't play.

Those of you saying this rebuild will be 2-3 years are insane and really don't understand.

It will be at least 6 or 7 years before we even come close to making the playoffs again. That is the reality. Even when that eventually happens we will be right back where we are now. A middle of the pack team elminated in the first or second round. It won't be worth it.
