Thanks for Gobert.

It's okay maybe we make up for it this year and sign Hill and Ingles as well.

I'm willing to give TC the benefit of the doubt when it comes to draft picks, but this doesn't make any sense to me after getting Lyles.

This is the worst draft in the TC regime

Wow bad pick. Mitchell for lyles and lydon might look REALLY bad in like 5 years. How'd we let Utah get us again? :banghead:

My only guess is that we were expecting OG to be there and when he got picked, we panicked and literally picked a paper name out of one of those ugly draft hats.

Lydon's draft profile sounds a whole lot like Juancho. I don't get it.

Maybe they plan to use some of these guys in a S&T for Millsap? Otherwise, I have no idea what we do with all these PFs.

My optimistic out look:

Indiana called us and said "if you can just find a way to get trey lyles and Tyler lydon, Paul George is yours"

A spot up shooter that moves well without the ball and has potential as a shot blocker. I would have rather had other guys, but I am willing to give him a chance.

What a joke, I hope Kiz rips em. Lyles and Lydon for Mitchell. Still don't have a damn direction

It looked like it was all going to work out with OG slipping, but that went about as poorly as couldve expected. I don't understand what he brings that Gomez doesn't, I would've preferred drafting one of the remaining euro's so we could just stash it instead. This guy will be in the G-League all year.

Thanks for Gobert.

With apologies to Nuggets fans, I was unexpectedly detained tonight, of all nights.

Will no longer read articles on Draft grades which i'm usually fond of coz we'd surely be among the losers for this year.

One thing to remember is that we still have free agency, the short term improvements for this year have always been coming from free agency and trades.

Lydon - Hadn't researched him, just did
Somewhat of Jokic-like player: 3pt range, good passer, not too aggressive, not much defense
plus he had the highest percentage of body fat of any player at the combine

I think I like the trade for Lyles but hate missing out on some other choices ahead of Lydon. Oh well, at least I'm not angry. So far, a reasonable draft - again. Let's see what they can do with 2 late 2nd round picks.

Lyles looks to be our best PF immediately - although he's young and hasn't played enough to start for Malone IMO.

We now have only one center unless we resign Plumlee.

At PF we have Lyles-Lydon-Faried-Arthur-Hernangomez and maybe Cornelie (unlikely now).
That would be 5 power forwards. Anyone think a trade is due?
