Basically no point in that entire part of the trade, other than cash grab.

What a night ruined, we had a perfect night unless we get Evans, Mason, Semi or Morris!

I bet you're right. I think most of us want Semi, but highly doubtful that's who they take.

Logical. Bell, Rabb, Mason, Evans.

Not really ruined but he fit a need. Let's see who we get at 40 (unless MJ sells it).

I imagine we wanted White or Hart, decided to move back when they weren't there.

What are the odds someone in the Charlotte media asks about the rationale to this trade? 10%?

I need Blackout to either confirm this and explain it to me, slowly, with lots of easy words... or deny it.

How does trading back and keeping the pick save us from the tax line? The difference between 31 and 40 in terms of money can't be much. Or does this pretty much guarantee we are trading 40 as well?

They got it from Washington by trading Frazier to them.

We don't have a lot of roster spots if you include Treveon Graham, Sessions, Roberts, and Johnny O'Bryant. (and Briante Weber)

Do you think this is related to tax line in any way?

I was under the impression we could sign second rounders to whatever contract we wanted. I didn't think 2nd round contracts were structured like first rounders. But that's also the old CBA.
