If not for Monk, I'd be going to play in traffic rn. Please keep Monk. So many better players available than Bacon, maybe the Pelicans misunderstand the name we wanted them to pick?

We should cancel the trade. New Orleans has stolen so much from us it would be nice payback.

No arguments here. I think Bacon did light up Duke at least once, maybe it works out in the long run. I just hate not having a Dukie on the roster.

The Frank Jackson pick would've made more sense than Dwayne Bacon.

I think, in time, the Hornets will regret trading away Frank Jackson.

yeah, seeing his highlights right now, just hammered it home. That's a dude that just gets it done, knows how to play ball. He'll stick in the league.

i may be a homer, but I think he's going to have a Gerald Henderson like career. That's worth a pick in the 20s, let alone 48 like the Clippers got him with.

I'm shocked PJ Dozier hasn't been picked up yet either.

I still don't see the motivation behind it, unless Cho really loves his Bacon. Didn't fat say no money was involved? Just a straight pick swap.

I imagine this is a stash pick. We are likely going to send him down to the swarm to see if he develops. He could possibly develop a Ricky Davis/ JR Smith type game. Who knows?

I mean Bacon was a good scorer as a freshman. Somewhat of a steal at #40. I doubt we get to see him play this year tho. Like Mt Biyombo said it'll be a stash pick to see how he develops. He could be a good 3 and D player with upside.

If he as Dumb as J.R. Smith, he better be working hard with Monk on outside shooting. You have to bring something to the table.

Feel bad for these guys that get bad advice and come out early and don't get drafted. Feel really bad for Jeanne. Dozier should have stayed.

So Panthers drafted a Christian and Corn but the Hornets took a Monk and Bacon.

I guess it's the best scenario considering who was left (and considering cap issue).

I wish they still could get Collins so that it could have been this team's future at C with Cody.

Anyway, that still gives a pretty nice roster to work with, especially if forwards (Batum included) go in redemption mode from this season.

I've been on this laptop for 13 straight hours, minus 45 minutes to eat dinner and about 45 minutes to play some video games. My eyes are on fire. One more hour I'm going to bed.

MJ is on cheap SOB...all the excitement that came from the Dwight trade, has been deflated for me tonight...what a let down

Monk is a 6'3 SG with a 6'4 wingspan aka a SG in a PG's body...and just when I thought we had made a great pick in round 2, we trade him...screw u MJ! Cheap piece of ****!!!!!!
