Well for one Wiggins and him are both best as two guards, although Wiggins plays 3 better than Lavine plays the #1 and Rubio was a key stirrer of their offense. It was a duplicity move imo and butler is short term much better
Being a third option offense based guy for a upcoming team usually isn't the safest role on the team, just like harden and probably others when teams have a glut of scoring.
I'm not saying he's a sure thing but he can be better than prime Ben Gordon.

Nope. This is a joke. Prime Ben Gordon was getting 40+ points in the playoffs, engineering come back wins, and getting clutch baskets consistently. LaVine is not doing that.

I'll tune in to some Bulls games and hope Zach becomes one of the best 2 guards in the L.

I'm a huge Butler fan for his talent, hard work, consistency and dedication to the team, but that's just one reason I can't find anything right about this trade. Although I don't agree, I understand the blowing things up theory. But doing it by throwing away your prime age all-star/best player for an injury-prone one, one that averages 3.8/game and an untested one is AWFUL. More players doesn't mean better team, SMH. What future free agents want to go to Chicago for Dunn and risky Lavine?
