Don't worry the pacers management just picked TJ Leaf and passed on John Collins, they are we-tall-did.

I actually think that's the right pick. Collins, with his skillset, is a long shot to be good in this NBA.

Well there are no draft picks in this draft to consider so it doesn't have to happen tonight.

Good point. In fact discussing it tonight would be a distraction unless a deal with lakers had to be made tonight

Well I think they can forget about any deal sending paul george to the Lakers this year. Any good team that wants him should be talking to the Pacers management who are a bunch of mentally deficient idiots, so come on and bring your offers for old washing machines and basketball racks maybe an autographed picture of Daffy Duck or something.

Not going to lie, it was disappointing not to see a trade get done. Despite KP's brave faced spin, it seems clear that teams are lowballing the Pacers. FWIW I doubt very much that PG will play another minute in a Pacer uniform.

On the bright side, it was good to see Butler being traded to Minny instead of a contender. Seems pretty clear that the bidding among Cavs, Celtics, and Spurs is the only hope left for the Pacers. Next date to watch for is the FA period, when the picture should become clearer for those teams.

The two teams very well could've agreed upon a deal-- the Celtics turned down #3 for Butler, they weren't trading it for George. There was no rush for a deal to get done yesterday.

If they agreed on the principles of a deal, it'd make sense to wait until after the Celtics tried for a max FA from a cap perspective, as the Celtics wouldn't have to send out as many veterans.

I'm pretty hopeful post-draft that something reasonable could get done.

I'm thinking that after Chicago got fleeced by the Wolves for Butler, maybe that takes some of the heat off of Pritchard to get a PG worthy haul back.

Glad #3 won't be part of it. Even with PG likely only being a 1 year rental, I would be down with paying the MEM '19 pick and Bradley/filler and marginal assets. I'm sure that CLE can beat that if they move Love (but don't see that as being a smart move) and LAL could, but I'd rather force their hand than let them get him for a song.

Is the guy reliable? I can't imagine a radio guy getting a scoop ahead of Woj & Stein on a trade of this magnitude.

Well he's certainly not a nobody so I doubt that he'd put it out there if he didn't hear something but yeah it would be nice to hear something from Woj

If they need a 3rd team. The Sixers would like to get Avery Bradley, if Indiana goes the rebuild route. Not sure what to offer, maybe Holmes, Stauskus, or Okafor, and cap space.

It sounds like those guys are purely speculating. It's very unlikely George would be able to fetch a high lottery pick. And Paul George doesn't have a wife.
