Sucks that it got cut off but I do love Isaac's mentality. He speaks like a guy with a ton of confidence in himself and his game. He clearly has a long way to go but he seems like the kind of guy that will do everything he can to reach his full potential. I am excited to see this guy play for us.

Now Isaac is going to do an interview on 580. I'm sure they'll get more info on the growth plates.

I have to admit that I was pretty excited seeing them there at the press conference. I know a lot of folks around here were disappointed at the outcome, but these are two guys I really hoped we would draft.

I challenge you to dislike Isaac after watching that.

Woah
7' 1"...? He looks like he's already 7'

Who needs to trade for Porzingis? We just drafted a guy who seems to have the same stature and skill set. Sure he hasn't set foot on an NBA court, but I like what I'm seeing and hearing so far.

And yes, Vogel looked like he was about to start drooling when Isaac spoke.

Isaac could be something special. Let's hope so because we sure as hell need it!

Is Weltman the face of Magic management? It seems like Hammond, the GM, is behind scenes and Weltman is front and center.
May I see some documentation on that please?

Wow, David Robinson was a 5'9" junior in HS and grew to be 7'1". The Naval academy had a 6'7" height restriction when he joined.

This kids still growing.. Simmons put on a couple inches last year as well. He's only 19. I'll take a 7-1 athletic, quick footed, versatile, elite defender, with high character on my team any day. We're lucky to have this special kind of talent in today's NBA. Can't wait to watch him grow and develop.

As it should be.

Weltman is the man in charge of basketball operations. He should be the one doing all the media and giving all the press conferences.

I'm assuming our starting 5 lineup in the summer league will be Garino, Georges-Hunt, Zimmerman, Isaac and Iwundu? I wonder if it's possible if a player on our summer league team can actually make the team? He would have to play so so well.

I remember how thin/weak Durant was when he was drafted, couldn't even bench his own weight. Hell Dwight, with those braces, was just asking for a kobe crotch-to-face dunk.

Hopefully Isaac can grow into his body like they did.

Lets get this man some minutes.
