The workout videos saves us all. I was bitching about not having spacing with a Winslow/Aldridge/Whiteside lineup and then we draft this kid. Then i rolled my eyes hear Calipari try to sell him on his jumpshot. Then I watched his workouts and if his shot is for real, there's some serious hope there.

There is no way Bam is a better shooter than Alridge, even riley said in his interview that bam was not a good shooter now, but that it is something they believe they can work on.

He doesn't believe Aldridge a good shooter. Don't start with him.

But I didn't say Bam was a better shooter than Aldridge...

?? I don't understand what the last part of your comment means.

Sorry my app freezing up. Teams are assuming the Heat are that is why Celtics are making it known that Paul George will agree to sign an extension with the Celtics if Hayward agrees to sign with Celtics. They want to make sure Hayward gets the message.

One of the reasons why I was OK with Aldridge being a player the Heat should trade for to use as an recruiting tool.

I dunno. I think its more flexing for the Lakers than it is for the Heat. Like you said we're only connected to Aldridge, which IMO, is a mistake. That team wouldn't be able to guard anybody on the perimeter and in pnr.

I don't think PG is signing any extension unless its to come to LA. If I was him I wouldn't sign it no matter the destination. Really if I was him I wouldn't have announced any plans to not resign with the Pacers period. If I've learned anything about dealings in sports, players don't owe teams ANY loyalty whatsoever. I would have waited to the last minute to announce my plans to go to LA and had the Pacers take whatever they could get as return so I could still get my money.

What? And then we win the title?

non-playoff team adds Bam Bam and wins the title.

How many teams wins a championship every year? This self entitlement of thinking you can win every year is something you are going to have to come to terms with. Only 1 team wins each year & it looks like that team will be the Warriors for the next few. Enjoy the sport like the reast of us, & please dont piss on our enjoyment of a very entertaning, & competitive team.

But if you insist yes please jump off that lendge. & while you are at it, please take a few of those angry depressed wannabe fans who only want to bitch & complain about the team with you.

I don't really see a reason for him to consider the Heat since Dion and JJ are also free agents. Not enough money.

I dont think that Pat considers him a max player. & because of that i dont believe that Pat has much interest in him unless its on a discount.

Those same people who are angry right now, are going to be even more angry after Pat resigns Dion, JJ, & not Hayward.

If that is all Miami can get done, basically the 41-41 record amounted to No Playoffs (Season) and No top 3 pick (draft) and no whale (FA), then yeah there are gonna be some angry ppl here and rightly so.

He's tried to land some from downtown, just didn't work. He never made the adjustment as far as I know. If he had that range, he'd be shooting from there a lot more often.

The guy is no Lebron James at PF, but he is active.

You know what it looks like? It looks like he was given a job to do as the third option on the team, that team was not all about him, it was not there to make him look "great". He had a job to do and put all his energy into changing the game as best as he could given his role on the team.

It sure seems like his skill set is broader than his role on the team.

We got a big old bag of 19 year old maybe... I don't fault posters that are skeptical, but comparing him to Joel is just disingenuous. I liked Joel for what he was, but Joel does not have Bams measurable or skill set.

I can't help but like the guy's can do attitude. It's not what he says, it's what he does. How he switched on the smaller players and shuts them down, or how he runs smaller guys down on fast breaks. How he plays above the rim in the lob game. His massive effort on the offensive glass and put backs.

There are posters here that have talked about what it would take to beat the warriors.... and there has been some buy in to we need an Anthony Davis.

We can't get an Anthony Davis at 14.

We did get a 19 year old, 5% body fat, 250 pound PF who can run, looks great setting screens and shows no fear on defense..... he even shows some ability to shoot.

He has value

Did we take him 5 picks to early?

10 picks?

Sure maybe, but we got a player that looks like a heat player. He also looks like he can plug into what Mia likes to do.

I bet this guy becomes a fan favorite

Just my opinion, but i believe that Pat thinks we are more like the 2nd half team, then the 1st. Ofcouse that also depends on injuries. But he looks like he will give this same team another shot. I also think he will bring in one, maybe 2 more rotation player. Another thing is it looks like he realy believes in Winslow. So i just hope that Winslows bad play to start the year was because of his arm injury. & thats what i am going to believe untill i see more of him.

He only been used twice as a 3 p the shooter other that that he randomly took a 3 pter. Portland used him one yr and he shot over 100 3s at 41%. Then the yr before last and he shot 35%. Otherwise he randomly took a 3 outside of the system.

If Dragic is being traded we are tanking. That would be what the third year in a row we are a lottery team? Pat was thinking about being a GM from his Cali home... People would get fired...
