I have to admit that my initial reaction to the rumor was one of suspicion. He has certainly had his ups and downs in the league. He was in and out of the starting lineup for the Bulls last year, even, but we saw how much better they played in the playoffs with him than after his injury. It's hard to argue with results like that. They somehow managed to find a way to play that wasn't hampered by Rondo's shooting woes. Plus he would bring a competitive attitude to the team that I don't know if many of our players possess. His attitude can be a doubled edged sword, but there's no doubt that he's passionate.
Do I really think this is a better idea than bringing back Jeff Teague? Not really, but for the right price he could definitely be an interesting addition, and that's only if he isn't brought back by the Bulls.

I'm not a fan but if Teague's price goes through the roof, this wouldn't make me scream. However, if we're getting Bradley, I'm okay without another point guard competing with Lance.

I do not like this move unless the Boston trade is real wherein we are acquiring Crowder and Bradley.

I'd rather have Joe Young start, and Joe Young is not good enough right now to be in the league.

I'd definitely rather have Lance start at PG than sign Rondo.

Re: Pacers interested in Rondo?
I really thought rumors of him to Indy would have died by now. I'm not as against it as I would have been before (even when he was a "star") because he seemed to be a good vet in Chicago. But I don't see the point. He and Lance would be a very poor fit in the backcourt.

Derrick Rose should be available. I like the Rondo idea a lot better than that option....
