Yeah it was damn near too good to be true with what we had. This franchise has bad luck or something. We may have the MJ curse.

-Lavine is a different kind of athlete from Rose. Whereas Rose was about burst, Lavine is about spring. He also has a lighter bone and muscle structure. He's less reliant on torque. Which is why our experience with Derrick doesn't color my expectations for Zach.
-Maybe Lavine is ahead of schedule -- maybe not. Damned if I'm going to take his agent's word for it though.

I'd much rather max him than Jimmy in 2 years. He's already a better scorer than Jimmy will ever be. Plus we got 2 good prospects in Lauri and Dunn? No brainer and exactly what the board has been clamoring for.
Thibs love for Jimmy made him overpay. No other team was offering anything close. We now have flexibility, youth and potential. What did we have at this time yesterday?

How are bulls fans falling for this crap again. You're never gonna be able to watch this kid without wondering when the other shoe will drop

I hope he can go into the 2018/19 season at full strength and with no drose type mental issues.

On a positive note didnt seem like Lavines ACL injury was as traumatizing as Rose ACL. Lavine went down in pain but then went on to play 6 more minutes, which could mean the tear wasnt as bad as Rose and him being able to play with it for 6 minutes probably means he wasnt traumatized by the initial injury. Everyone is different, all we have hope for is that its healing fine

He's an absolute gym rat! As a rookie, Flip Saunders had to take away his key to the practice gym because he would be in there all hours of the night.
Here's an article on his work ethic from last summer:

Have I missed the part where players undergo body composition scans nowadays as common practice & this data is publicly released for all to see?
