I'd play Booker, Jackson, Chriss together to see what we have.

If we're going deep by 2020 it's going to be primarily them taking us from 25 to 50 wins.

Man we don't know what we have in Jackson yet although I am hyped on him.

Derrick Williams was selected 2nd overall after Kyrie irving...I think

And look how well that worked out.

I have way higher hopes for JJ though. But Warren has proven himself to be a good player in this league. JJ needs to surpass Warren to start.

Theres no way the suns organization is just like, "Warrren you have played really well for us but we just drafted a rookie and hes taking your place"... na na na

JJs going to have to earn it and when he does he will be a better player for it.

Think of it like your normal every day job.....You get hired and there is a guy that's better than you with a better position. You don't just take his job you have to earn the promotion. Work your way up. Its the same in basketball.

And along the way to trying to be promoted you learn and learn to become better....To take that spot that you so desperately want.

Sorry if I'm getting kinda salty about people forgetting about Warren....But I love the guy. And I feel like people are just forgetting about him.

Warrens so good off the ball has high BB IQ and has a silky smooth shot.

And just because we haven't seen Warren for many months doesn't mean he doesn't exist. I'm sure hes still working on his game and will start next season just as good as he left off. JJ will have to work very hard to take the starting roll from Warren. Unless Warren come back to training camp at 300 pounds that is.

The problem (IMO) with Derrick Williams was he played Center at U of A and lived at the line (driving on bigs was one of his greatest strengths) but took a beating. Moving on to NBA I felt he would've fared better at PF but rumored Draft time he wanted nothing to do with PF position and I'm guessing struggled in NBA against better athletes (I only watch Suns games). But why a 6'8 245 lb athlete wants to play strictly at SF when his threat of driving ability (against bigger, slower players) opened up his jumpshot, got him to the line, etc. is beyond me.

It really wasn't much about player or position just more about we all have high hopes for the guys we draft but we really have no idea what they will turn into. And a lot of lottery picks turn into busts.

Basically He has to earn his spot over Warren. That's all.

And I have really high hopes for JJ.

I would have given you a million "and 1s" if I could have for that comment about the steelers! Literally the absolute worst fan base in the NFL. Dirtiest team in the NFL bar none

Does anyone worry about Watson's ability to coordinate the minutes among 10+ guys ? Is he going to rely on his group fingerpainting sessions to soothe the lack of playing time egos ? I dont see where Dudley and Barbs fit in. And am curious about the approach they will have for BKnight.

Seems like some fine tuning may be needed for this roster..... or a major acquisition. We have fallen behind the other rebuilders in the West.

That is not true. As a quick example... last year no one from the Top 5 started.

Simmons (or Hield at #6), Ingram, Brown, Bender and Dunn.

I am not worry about it at all. I think that Watson is amazing treating different personalities and egos.

Dudley and Barbosa are what they are. Bench players that love the team/city, earn good money but they understand that they are not relevant anymore.

They will not cause problems for sure. They are gonna play when/if needed and their presence is positive in the locker-room.

Regarding Knight, Gambo has said a few times that he will not play again for the Suns. He is done in Phoenix.
He is gonna be traded, hoopefully without adding value.

I must have missed that somewheres.... Ive seen/participated in his removal discussion and feeling a buyout/stretch provision/out right waiver may be the solution. Just dont see a deal there w/o taking on the same money same caliber player. Swapping a mistake for a mistake doesn't solve a problem. The dude going to need a shrink after this blow to his ego/confidence. I wonder how extreme the organization will be.... will they ask him to just stay home? Assign him to the DLeague? (can he go there?) Truly, BK needs to go overseas a few years and reinvent his game.

Duds and Barbs yes, are pros and not probs.... but man, considering they only have a few more years, you would think they'd want to participate in actual games. May be they will be happy with their 10-12 minutes per, especially with the green chuck light on.

So I think most of us like the new roster/lineup of Charlotte with additions of Howard and Monk right?

Kemba / Monk / Batum / Marvin / Howard
FA / Lamb / MKG / Frank / Zeller

I think this team should make the playoffs in EC.

I find that our roster is kinda similar to Charlotte with:

Bledsoe / Booker / Jackson(Warren) / Chriss / Chandler
Ulis / Reed / Warren(Jackson) / Bender / Len(Williams)

I know the difference between conferences and I'm not saying we are going to playoffs. But we can really surprise some people in this upcoming season.

Well, we aren't in the East NTB......

getting in the playoffs will not be a given. GS/HOU/OKC/SA are the perennials ... and it looks like Minny/Denver/Utah have edged passed us. Portland should still be good... dont know about the Clips or Mavs or even the fLakes at this point. Things are going to have to come together nicely for any post season play. Im expecting the vegas O/U on wins for us will be around 30.

Will Jackson have to earn the starting spot? Of Course but what Jackson brings to the tablet isnt always what Warren brings. Warren is a good scorer, good rebounder and an ok defender. Jackson is a great defender who will drive others to be better defenders, he is a good scorer and good rebounder, and good passer for a SF. I think that you can count on seeing Jackson and Warren on the floor together but Jackson from the day he steps on the floor will be the best defender on the team.
