Why on earth would anyone give up value when Phil has said all the things he has said about Melo in public and everyone can see it is headed for a buy out. This is the same as a bad trade for Phil. He didn't maximize the value of Melo. If you hate him or not he has more value than a buyout canidate but now that is what we will have to settle for. Another horrible job by PHIL
I believe it's spelled PHAIL.
He's mismanaged the entire thing and the only reason folks are ok with it is because of some irrational need to have a scapegoat or they just are that desperate to see Melo go. Maybe it's both.
At least a buyout would prevent him from taking on a bad contract in a trade like he did with Failderon and would prevent him from using the money on a completely washed player like Noah.
