Kinda messed up how Melo won't let the team trade him to the Cavs but wants a buy out to go there. Why's he trying to make this team lose him for nothing when we can get assets for him in a trade?

The Knicks should in no way agree to a buyout with Melo. You don't simply buyout your best player and let them go to a team for nothing. If he wants out he will agree to a trade otherwise he will be here. Now he could either fit into what the team wants to do or fight them on it, ride the bench and waste another year of his career.

That pick was never supposed to be that high.

Late teens, early twenties at least...but the Knicks can't build rosters.

Around carmelo they cant, no one could.

Melo is not the type of player you build around. Never was never will be.

Anybody expect anything else from Melo? He compromised our future when he forced a trade here making us give up our young assets for him when he could've signed in the summer and now he would rather a buyout than us get anything in return. And to be frank, I think we could really use that bag of Planter's Honey Roasted he's worth nowadays.

Everybody has been saying the same about Melo since he's come to New York and even before then.

Doesn't play defense, ball stopper on offense, but can score.

Phil says it, and he's the worst thing to happen to the Knicks organization in decades.
