I'm not, and haven't once pretended elsewise in my 5,000+ posts.

I have a real good buddy who works with someone who "works in the front office for Ainge". My buddy says his froend at work showed him the texts that the deal was done, contingent on Hayward committing and Indy not getting cold feet.

Told me the offer. I personally love it. Some won't. General Board would prob trash both Ainge and Indy for it. Not gunna reveal specifics cuz too many media members lurk here and will quote it for an article.

Anyway you can say if it is or isn't drastically different from what's being reported (LA/Sac, Jae, AB)? If not, no problem.

Yah, Kaufman is full of **** and talking out of his rear

Thanks for the info SWC.

You should PM a mod the specifics of the deal and then claim credit for being the first poster here to break the news when it eventually comes out. ;)

Haha the thing is, I'm not an insider or anything nor do I want to be. My buddy could be wrong or yanking my chain. Just heard some news and figured I'd share with y'all.

What deal would have the GB trash both the Pacers and Celtics? I'm trying to figure out what deals some wouldn't love. Time to go through your post history and find the players you like/dislike. :D

EDIT: I honestly do wonder if this would involve IT just to leave Bradley out of it..would be crazy to me, but I guess I shouldn't say it is completely unexpected.

We should start a thread on it with predictions.

They probably are giving the Pacers the Bkn 18 pick. Some won't care others will.

That's what's got me confused about it. If they get a Brooklyn pick I can't see Indiana being bashed

That's what I thought but why would general board bash Indiana for that? That's a home run for them

Just pray we get Hayward, then we'll get some fireworks. He's the key.

I'm about to go to band practice and won't be able to make the new thread.

Whoever does though better make it "Summer of George" as JB suggested.

The fact that Hayward hasn't opted out of his deal so as not to allow Utah to talk to him is a positive sign I would think.

Ha, yes!

Whatchu rocking, Truth? Strumming on a killer cigar box 3 string right now to unwind.

I don't see fans wildly favoring Jaylen or Tatum, so I'd lean toward it possibly including the BKN18 as well. If it means Hayward and a resigned PG, I think I'm in.

On the downside, the universe may collapse upon itself if Tony Allen and Marcus Smart ever collide while diving for a loose ball. That said, worth it.

The only thing that would probably piss off both fan bases is if IT was in the trade.

Paul George is the answer.

Yes, Cavs kick our asses in EFC. But they didn't destroy Pacers. They sweep them 4-0, but:

G1- Cavs won 109-108...Pacers (CJ Miles) miss game-winning shot at the buzzer
G2- Cavs won 117-111
G3- Cavs won 119-114 but Pacers lead 25 at halftime
G4- Cavs won 106-102 but NBA official last two minutes review said that 3pointer by LeBron shoudn't counted because LeBron travelled. It was 3pointer 68 seconds till end which Pacers 102-100 lead made into Cavs 103-102 lead

LeBron was great in that series (32,8ppg, 9,8rpg, 9,0apg) but PG13 was great also (28,0ppg, 8,8rpg, 7,3apg)
PG13 give Cavs and LeBron trouble with Pacers?

IT & Smart >>> Teague & Brooks
Hayward, Brown, Tatum >>>> Stephenson, Ellis, Robinson
Horford,Žižić,Theis > Turner, Young, Seraphine
Stevens >>>> McMillan

If we get PG13 LeBron would get sick. We would be kings of the East
There's only one statistics that's important: who won...Bill Russell

So Rozier and Smart are our PGs? I think the Cavs beat us.

TBF, GB would bash us regardless so maybe it's just us fleecing Indy 8-) :P
