Im surprised you're not a fan of it . Thought you would be all for his sexy layups. I mean that is why you like Smih right? His driving ability and being able to jump high.

I was expecting someone that literally was the kryptonite to LeBron. Someone that dominated the game offensively and played well enough in other areas. ESPN highlights threw me for a loop. The dude sucks. Zero D, zero creation, can't get by his man anymore, can't jump, destroys any and all team chemistry, runs coaches and players out of town, attracts literally no talent to the club. He's a bum.
Now he wants a buyout? LOL. He can fester on the bench for the next two years. Hell, send him to the D-league. I wouldn't bend an inch with this punk. He'll open up to being traded to more locations real quick... or he can rot till the contract expires and we move on as a team, a concept he's unfamiliar with.
This has to be trolling.
Nah, I'm just not some ignorant Melo fangirl that worships the ground he walks on. I call a spade a spade, and he's a bum. If you replace Melo with LeBron right now, even swap, we're in the ECF next year. With Melo, we're a lottery team. He's a bum.
Oh, I'm ignorant now huh?

yeah it's a terrible idea to knuckle under to him for a buyout. if he feels trapped then good for the knicks-- they have leverage. we are going to have to be overpaid in any trade. if other teams thinks he is a good fit to help win now, then high 1st round picks are the only logical pieces to demand in return.
he should think about changing his role on the knicks as a backup plan, be the good soldier and accept a sixth man role. that would be the grownup thing for melo to do if a trade is not in the knicks' favor.

I still love ya, but that is not true. I know this because you were the first person to be awarded Most Valuable Nutrider during the Zeke era. A simple Google search will confirm this. "First Ever Most Valuable Nutrider Award"
again
not so
no such award
not for me certainly
stop spreading lies
I hated Curry so much before we got him and tried to support him when he was a knick but couldn't
I hated losing picks especially the one that became my perfect knick - Noah
I hated the sexual harassment, the whole coach carousel, etc
I dont have to defend myself from your lies
calling names doesnt make it so
I support this team 100% and couldn't care less who runs it or plays for it. Its the team, always and forever.
I see mismanagement and stupidity especially from the front office and I call it out
I see quality from the same and I call it out
Phil has done some good things
his dealings with players and media are horrible though
I'm not criticizing you for your opinons about the team. I was just speaking about the Isiah era. However, I haven't followed you in recent years because I haven't paid much attention to realgm plus the Knicks have been beyond atrocious making it difficult to watch. I apologize if you have changed your views on how the team has been run. But I know what I know and you were at one time a big Isiah Thomas fan.

But Melo did say he would waive the NTC if Phil told him we were rebuilding. Phil told him we would rebuild at the end of the 16 season, and Melo declined to waive the NTC. Phil then figured if he couldn't move Melo, he'd try to make the playoffs one more time, because he still thinks Melo is a good player, so the Rose, Noah, and Lee moves happened
Nope you're missing the point. PJax would of signed Noah if Melo was on the roster or not.
You don't know that. He probably wouldn't make the Rose trade without Melo here, so Lopez would still be here, and there would be no reason to sign Noah. Let's not play in alternate realities again.
Your Knick hating sig is just a hyperbolic comment from someone who just signed a player. You can't take that stuff literally.
“Joakim is somebody who has been on my list for a long time,’’ Jackson said...“He was initially our first choice in the first-agent market."
Yeah. Sounds like a guy who's hand was forced.
And you say don't talk with alternate realities. Then use an alternate reality TWICE by saying he wouldn't make the DRose move if Melo is not here AND saying that we wouldn't of traded RoLo if it wasn't in that DRose move.

We gave up two draft picks. 2. The 3rd was a swap. We gave that pick to Toronto in a separate trade. Those picks were supposed to be late rounders too but we executed whatever plan we had badly.

Nets fan here.
We would take Melo off your hands with an unprotected 1st rounder attached for next year. Hell, we will even give you expiring Trevor Booker in return.
Melo gets to stay close to home atleast.

This isn't about Noah
This is about Melo saying he would waive the NTC if we were rebuilding, then when he was told we were rebuilding, he didn't
But keep deflecting
You're the one who brought up the Noah signing
I also brought up the Rose trade, but neither were the main argument, which y'all keep ignoring
Deflecting?

K-DOT wrote:You mean like that time Phil told him we were gonna rebuild and asked him to waive the NTC, and Melo said nah, which led to us trading for Rose and signing Noah, because Phil thought Melo was still good enough to get us to the playoffs?
You said because of A, B happened.
I tell you B would of happened regardless of A and gave you proof of the interest PJax had.
Then you say wel that wasn't my main point.
You're the one deflecting. Not me. I stuck to what I said. You are not.

I hope Phil doesn't waive or buy out his ass. We're going to suck, and I hope Melo has a front row seat. His career ranking is going to be greatly affected by staying in NY, but that's what he wants.
