I feel pretty good about my Manu/Porzingis pairing. There are 2 potential exceptions in particular that I think will work well, hopefully I can get one of them. Might be a while though...

The Kristaps pick was annoying because it looks risky on paper but seems a lot better after someone else makes it, if that makes any sense.

I like Mike and Yao but the exemption is gone and it's a long time until the 3-4 turn.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

In this talent pool I feel like pretty much every pick is a risk. I mainly dig that Kristaps will fit like a glove next to a lot of the Centers still on the board.

At first I read Renaldo Balkman, which would have been a hilariously bad pick (and invalid as far as I'm aware...)

I'm pleased to report that this would actually be a valid pick.

Something that I think is going to happen is lots of guys are going to be playing a lot more minutes in these games than they did in real life. There's a guy in particular I'm targeting for my third round pick who averaged less than 20 MPG in the season I'm planning to use, but he could certainly play more. I think we are all going to have to be more wary of who we think could play more minutes than they did and who couldn't.

Hmm, I don't know if I foresee myself doing anything like that. There are still quite a few good but flawed players who just never get picked in regular games. I'm weighing up one of those right now.

I think I know who I'm taking with my next pick (hopefully he lasts). I think this draft is more unpredictable than others especially with the exception twist too.

Seems strange with Dream going that late.

There's a guy I overlooked who I really wish I had taken there instead. Maybe he'll still be there for me in the 3rd? Not likely, but possible.

Snake, I took Sarunas in one of the first games I ever played. Fun player!
