Paul will be ridiculous in that system. Wouldnt be surprised if they clear cap for Blake.

100%...Kawhi CP3 is much better

Harden and CP3 makes no sense. Both need the ball

I agree that is a bad fit. Harden going to play off the ball?

me and and the green machine can finally agree on something 100%.

Get this jackass out of town and back to the west coast asap!!! what great news to wake up to!!

Perfectly encapsulated by the 54-win team that collapsed, badly, and then Phil stepped in. If you'd rather have that team than the 3 young guys we have now, and our picks and our cap situations being decent, I would say that's way off base and a little crazy. I understand how much W's are valued over L's. They feel better. But building a team like that 54-win team -- it's the epitome of empty calories. It's not what caring about the Knicks should be about:

J.R. chucks, Melo carrying the load but in a way that doesn't last, Felton a well-meaning but terrible player. Tyson sucked badly too. And then we were wiped out by the Pacers. Just remember before that, when we had a total meltdown and blew a 20+ lead in Boston against a Celtics team that was absolutely empty. Is that the feeling we want again?

That's what awaits us again if we abandon Phil's approach and go back to trying to build a roster like that, or like the Pistons now. THAT'S the pits.

news flash, any GM can keep their gifted league minimum draft picks. :nonono:
There's something about an underdog that really inspires the unexceptional.

CP3 to the Rockets doesn't even make GS flinch. Hard to see how CP3 and Harden co-exist seeing as CP3 needs the ball in his hands at all times. I mean they didn't give up much of anything but GS still crushes that team.

I disagree with you Greenie. I don't think the culture itself became worse. Phil signed a bunch of guys with good attitudes and work ethics. We have no malcontents on the team. No one getting suspended or embarrassing us in public...you know, the type of things that were happening before Phil came in. Phil's Ego and Old Man belief that he can say whatever he wants and get away with it.

Derek Fisher and Derrick Rose would like a word with you.

YOUR talked culture...that statment doesn't make sense to me. Rose pulled a stunt that we curious but, not JR level stupid. He apologized and was never an issue going forward....at least not beyond his abismal court vision. Derek Fisher was a mistake but, not embarrasment level. He just didn't work out.

Do you deny that he got rid of guys that needed to go and brough in good charector players. Sure, you can point to what one player, which pretty much proves my point

Phil Jackson was was terrible but he kept all our picks and drafted well. Too bad he didn't go all in with the youth direction from the beginning or he might still be here. I'm worried the next guy will reverse the little good Phil has done and do stuff like trade the entire the team for Westbrook to avg a triple double on a 40 win team.

Maybe the biggest positive of the Phil regime(and the Nets) is to show New Yorkers that you can and should rebuild through the draft. Everyone hated the Mets front office for not signing big name guys until their core youth took them to the world series. We need a replacement with patience and vision whatever it is

Chris Paul is old and on a decline.
Thank god the Rockets got him.

That would've been a typical Isiah Thomas/Dolan move to give Paul $30 mil a year for 5 years for a washed up declining player.
