Thanks. I guess I should be more excited about it.
CP3 was the best PG in the league last year by WP48, even ahead of Harden.

I just don't like what we gave up to get him, his contract, or his age.
Hopefully I'm wrong, though. So far, every time I've been skeptical of Morey (all 3-4 times), his choices have panned out.
Morey 2020.

Wow. Paul and Harden together? I cannot imagine why any Rocket fan would be unhappy.

Yeah, I get the standing reach and wingspan thing, but since those aren't listed for most people without cross referencing draftexpress, I used height as a shortcut.

It's not really a weird cutoff point. From 6'4" to 6'7", rebound% increases by almost 60%.

That's pretty important for creating possessions, and sure enough, Golden State has been top 3 for the last 3 years.
Combine that with their defense and shooting percentages, and voila.

I just don't like to give height much credit, standing reach MUCH more relevant. You use your reach in basketball, not your forhead

Les is just paying teams cash to get enough money in contracts to make the CP3 trade work before July 1st, that way the Rockets will be over the cap and have access to the 8.4 million MLE and the 3.2 million BAE in free agency

Pls miss me with all the Les is cheap talk in the near future everyone

Even melo wouldn't be the worst pf for you guys. More willing to play the position than PG.

What could you guys offer for PG? You'd have to move ariza. Not sure what flexibility you guys have and apparently moving ryno is gonna come at a hefty price.

Milsap would be great though I'm not sure if it's possible.

You'll have to ask someone else, because I've given up trying to figure out what Morey is going to try to do. I just wait for the news to break.

Not actually a TPE, he said "essentially" a TPE and by that he means all the new unguaranteed contracts they traded for in addition to Nanu and Taylor. They can trade all those guys, who can be cut by the team who takes them, for aroun 11 mil in salary

The Rockets are open to a D'antoni and Carmelo reunion per Feigen. If D'antoni welcomes him and the deal is something like Anderson + pick(s) why not? And after looking at his contract, I can imagine big moves as early as next off-season(when Melo can decline his player option. With Harden, Paul, and Melo are already here, they may be able to lure a buddy of their's.

If Melo declines his option before coming, I would do Ryno and a first, but the first is really just to get out of Rynos deal, not so much to get Melo

If D´Antoni keeps on the run´n´gun system I doubt Millsap would be a nice fit. Kevin Love would be interesting imo...

Paul George would be the perfect aquisition but I think teams like Boston or Cleveland could offer more.

How is Bogut coming along from injury? We need another big man in the rotation that can help, cant rely on Nene as we saw in P/O with his age. Another guy we should look at with minium is Marreese Speights as 3rd big man C.

Capela/ Nene / Bogut is a nice center rotation.

Capela / Nene / Bogut
Trade? (Anderson?)
Trade? (Ariza?)
Harden / Gordon
Paul / Harden / FA

Ron ron on how commited he is to the team.

That was my line of thinking. If Melo would do that, him along with CP3, Wade, and LBJ will all be free agents next off-season, who knows what could happen.
