Houston fans are so lucky to have Morey as their GM. The man is so proactive. At the very least he tries his heart out

Yea. Harrell is a really good prospect. Trade gets better and better. Honestly... trading DJ for a wing and starting Harrell may work. Get a lights out shooting wing to pair with Griffin. Then you draft smart and in 2-3 years you're a contender again as GS is hopefully cooling off.

It was clearly time for the clippers to start over. And why tf are they even considering a Blake griffin return? Ew

This myth has been dispelled too many times to count. When the Clippers were winning 19 games they had very respectable attendance. If anything I'm happy that the bandwagon fans will leave, but there are plenty of legit fans there.

Crazy Harden is willing to give up the ball more after having his best year and coming short in mvp.

Lot of PG-13 to Houston chatter. But IT hasn't given up on PG-13 and Hayward coming to Boston:

Melo, maybe as I could see Knicks eating Ryan Anderson/Gordon but would be monumentally stupid since they're really going nowhere, so, why bring back contracts for players that really aren't in your future tanking plans just to get rid of Melo. If that's the case, instead of having to pay out 101mil guaranteed for 3 years left on EG/RA, just buyout Melo at 35-40mil and stretched and be done with him while preserving cap space to take bad deals with picks attached in 3-5 years time.

And PG just seems like a pipe dream but I guess one can dream...

Dude's getting his $ with the super max extension, at this point he wants the ring. Can't blame him.

PG is likely a one year rental. The price tag on him won't be as high as some people think.

Jerry West will do the Clippers right. Leveraging CP3 means Clippers will be able to go younger. Clippers will also be able to improve their bench.

I don't get how this makes them better. Harden was the PERFECT point guard for this offense. Now you have 2 guys that need to dribble for 10 seconds before they do anything. They needed better wings to take the next step, not another (small) point guard
If they get George, obviously that makes a big difference but I think this alone does not make them better.

So Chris Paul kidnaps Deandre Jordan, convinces him to stay and then bails at first opportunity.

Melo got D'Antoni fired from the Knicks. He also turned Houston down a couple years ago when they were begging for him in free agency. Not sure I buy that.

CP3
Harden
George
Ariza?
Capela

I would trade Capela for Marcin Gortat and that can challenge the Warriors starting 5. If Igoudala is available, scoop him up too.

I like CP3 a lot but... I actually can't disagree with them.

fouronesix22 wrote:Clippers got robbed. They could have gotten more draft picks. Sam dekker and a 2018 pick are useless, beverly is the only good player the got in return.

Ok so clippers are rebuilding then. Understandable but why not try to get some more picks at least? But cant blame doc 100% for this trade because paul told him that he will go to houston so they got something back at least

Not sure if trolling, but in 4 days they would've lost him for NOTHING. This is good for the Clippers.

Iguodalla is gonna command 15+ per year on the open market, they have zero cap space after the trade.
