I could see Sacto being a team ready to throw a big deal at Snell and push us into a corner with a decision on him. If the deal is outrageously large then I'd love B Mac as a cheap replacement on a "prove it" type 1-2yr deal.

Fox-Buddy-Snell makes sense in Sacramento..

i don't think so, they have Justin Jackson also

In between only having one season below .500 and 5 seasons with at least 50 wins, the Rockets under Daryl Morey have now acquired two superstars.

They may not be a juggernaut of a franchise but they've **** all over us when it comes to building a team that's actually good.

Maybe more impressively is that they've done it without tanking.

Rox have only had 3 sub .500 seasons since 1985. With the Spurs consistency (and obviously more titles) the Rockets really get overlooked.

Cuban has one title so scoreboard to him. But overall scoreboard Rockets with 2 thanks to tanking for Olajuwon.

Lots of moving pieces who could be cut coming out of that Paul deal that would be nice additions to Bucks/Herd.

What a coup if Blakey signs with the Rockets.

Three teams have now gotten out of paying their stars $200+ million deals.

It's really hard to be good when you're run by idiots.

Counterpoint: Phil Jackson has 11 titles.

Phil didn't build those teams. Terry Stotts and Mike Dunleavy and hundreds of other former NBA coaches would have won those 11 titles too with 11 the best rosters in history.

Oh, it's very much a flip comment fueled by recency bias. Let's just say today is sweet ambrosia for the Phil Is Overrated Crowd, of which I am a card carrying member.

The owners wanted to do everything they could to stop things like KD to GSW from happening and all we've seen so far is them getting cheap when it really matters.

Deandre Jordan would be fun to watch with Giannis.

What do we think other teams are offering for him?

Mostly irrelevant but holy **** Nikola Jokic is fun to watch. I can't stop watching his highlights. I might take him over KAT, obviously right now for sure but going forward too.

It's the same thing to a FAR lesser degree. You guys need to stop being willfully dense about the difference between joining a good team and the winningest team of all time.

I know the difference, but it doesn't make a difference to me. It just doesn't upset me. Lebron leaving Cleveland wouldn't even have upset me except for I know tons of people in Cleveland and he absolutely embarrassed the entire city on some self serving national "reveal"

Why doesn't it make a difference to you? In the fallout from both of these player moves, one of these teams is beatable and one is not. As an NBA fan: meh?

Probably because the best team in the history of the NBA is happening during my lifetime. As an NBA fan: not so meh

Overall other than Giannis, I don't care where any player goes or super team or whatever. Giannis being my favorite player, it'd hurt a ton but I know it would be because our boob front office couldn't put pieces around him to win.

I think the Clips actually wanted to keep CP though. But yeah the Kings and Bulls clearly wanted no part of Boogie and Jimmy.
