The Jimmy G Buckets thread
I didn't see a thread dedicated to Jimmy, so I thought i'd make one.
I'll start this thread off with a question:
How far away is Jimmy Butler from Paul George & Kawhi Leonard?
Obviously Kawhi is better, but he should be on the same level as Paul George, if not close?

I think he's better than PG13 as a 1st option, worse as a 2nd/3rd option. It's all about the fit when you're comparing those two.

Love the "thats Jimmy G Buckets, the G stands for gets" nickname. We never have any cool 1 liners like that. We're stuck with whatever Dave Benz thinks is clever

I think the biggest thing that separates them is their length
Leonard: 6'6" with 7'3" wingspan
George: 6'7.75" with 6'11.25" wingspan
Butler: 6'6" with 6'7.5" wingspan

Very smart marketing. I hope there is a good crowd. Karl Anthony Towns level welcoming crowd.

Geezus...Kawai must never have to pay for airfare with that wingspan!

Re: The Jimmy G Buckets thread
Just checked my DVR and I got both Bulls games recorded. Will be watching those several times this summer lol. First game opened up with a Buter, Lavine comparison. Dis gun B Gud.

Butler's effort and number of hustle plays are impressive. I am tired of watching Wiggins, LaVine and KAT giving up plays, losing focus and their opponents, not running back in transition. That is so frustrating. Hopefully it will change next season. We have everything to be the team which can control the pace and fight opponents in half court using KAT, Butler and Wiggins offense.

LOL the happiest I've seen Thibs in a long time. Must be happy to have someone aside from Rubio who can play some defense.

Not entirely sure if the Bulls announcer Stacey King is responsible for coining that nickname but I think he came up with it. And I love that guy for it. People keep calling him out for doing a horrible job announcing the game but every time I watched a game with him as an announcer I freaking loved it. Maybe because he really gets into it and does a lot of corny stuff which is a bit refreshing compared to the rational approach by Benz and Pete. Not that I'd take King and the Bulls crew over the Wolves' one but I enjoy them from time to time.

A little tidbit... Jimmy Butler has become pretty good friends with Kyrie Irving with their time on the Olympic team and if LeBron leaves Cleveland next year there's been chatter about them wanting to teaming up.

I was just referring to 1 liners that we had in the past. Wolves broadcast is corny af.

I have a feeling that if we end up keeping Rubio(Which I believe is what should happen) he's going to silence everyone that wants to trade him. However it would be crazy if Rubio ended up on the Cavs with Kevin Love
