Yeah, not everyone can be Dwight Howard or Shawn Kemp.

IND is going to pass up a chance to get a deal they like more when they already waited past the draft because they don't want to wait 1 more week? Not buying that even slightly. If there was a deadline, it was at the draft and they already waited past that. If a deal for George happens now, think it's a sign either Lakers panicked and offered Ball or Ingram, or the Celtics talks were never really very close to begin with. I'd be shocked if IND blew up a deal they liked most because they don't feel like waiting an extra week, though.mzepol wrote:Why do I get the feeling that we will be surprised George is suddenly traded by IND to another team as the Hayward thing is taking too long?
Pritchard came out and said if they had to take George into training camp waiting for better offers, they were willing to do that. FWIW. They don't want to get ****** in the ass more than they already have. I guess they hold some leverage since George is the only star seemingly available in the market and teams willing to take the risk could still bid for him.

Yeah Dwight was banging some nasty porn stars. I remember he had some controversy with Marey Carey who infamously ran for governor of California. She was well past her prime at the time and I felt like Dwight could find much better random strange than that any day of the week.
He strikes me that he is like Tiger Woods, major sex addict.

In most situations waiting until the trade deadline is the best move. This is one of the few cases where it isn't. The universe of teams is limited to "contenders" though you may an odd team without a draft pick who thinks they may reach the playoffs and sell a few more tickets. The amount a "contender" is willing to screw with chemistry goes down and anyone with draft picks is already in the process of falling in love with players. With FA signing period over the ability to plug holes has also limited itself. The assets you get back also in some ways limit themselves. Avery Bradley a year out (who can then be traded again at the trade deadline) is a better asset than an Avery Bradley who you can either re-sign or extend.
Our offer and that of almost any other team will be better now. If Paul George was more willing to extend for teams he is traded to and wasn't seen as an extreme flight risk and he had another year on his contract then yes. Wait for the trade deadline. Another thing to keep in mind is Indiana wants to get as bad as they can right away. So less games played by PG the better.
And by the same token teams will feel better able to have hope of making their rental permanent the sooner they get him. Chances are the package we offer now, the package we offer at training camp, and the package we offer at the trading deadline has a better chance of growing worse rather than better.
Last and a consideration to be considered especially in light of what happened with Butler. If in doubt teams trading franchise players prefer to trade out of conference. That way they are less likely to be "haunted" by them. If Indiana is unsure whether to go with Boston or Houston it will be Houston. They may event take a lesser offer from Houston over one from Boston.

Sex addict, right lol. I'm sure it's a real thing but it's a hard sell that he isn't just a dirt bag.

You certainly can be a sex addict and a major dirtbag. I would argue most are because you have to make your own choices. But I do believe that's a thing. I really think Children having such easy access to hardcore pornography isn't healthy and has been a bit of a catalyst for greater addiction. Similar to how Children that over use technology at a young age often have poor communication skills as they get older.
Sorry for OT, back to Hayward and George lol
