George is out of Indy. He'd be a fool to reject the offer.

Re: PG Part II: The Summer of George
Agreed, that's how negotiations go. They come in absurdly high, Ainge comes in low and the real question is whether they can meet in the middle when it's time to cut a deal. We are likely offering starting players and no top end picks but our lesser valuable picks. They are asking for 2 top end ones hoping we will relent and settle on that Lakers pick.Green_teamer wrote:This is probably just posturing from Indy hoping well "settle" on just the lakers pick
Not sure whether Ainge would cough it up. I lean towards no but if you get Hayward in the fold and George even if not re-negotiating and extending here still sounds open to coming and staying long-term, he might. Can't see him giving up the Nets pick at all.

Wouldn't be surprised if the pacers just let him walk for nothing.

Probably a Raptors fan. If they lose Massai their forum is going to melt.

The Madness of George III
Or EnGeorged.
If I don't make the thread, somebody include this in the OP
Beautiful.
I was worried I was gonna have to pull out "George, George, George of the Jungle: Watch out for that Three!" That would have been humiliating.

Of course he asked for that. I imagine he quickly realised that wasn't happening and something more reasonable was discussed.

I'm really torn on this matter. If Massai goes to the Knicks, Raps fans will be sad, and the inferiority complex grows larger. However, there's also the rumor that Isiah Thomas might return, thanks to Dolan. What it really all boils down to is, who do I dislike more? Raptors or Knicks?

Lol would be gr at, Masai is kinda overrated though. BC built that core, Masai kinda sent them on the treadmill. He's def good not great though...

What a **** idiot. **** that guy. PG isn't an all star and he's asking for potential superstar picks.

I don't give BC credit for anything, probably someone under him who made those picks.
Agree on Massai though. I was way higher on him when he was on the Nuggets. Maybe leaving Toronto will bring him back to that level

Bulpett says we don't want to offer either pick next year and report comes out a day later saying Indy asking for both. Truth is usually somewheres in the middle

It's wrong but they were arguing it.

Probably worried about public turning on them if a deal was done with another team with a bunch of "sources" reporting a fake deal was essentially in place already.

Re: PG Part II: The Summer of George
That Murphy report is counter to every other rumor we've heard, yet that is Pritchard's latest offer? I don't think so Tim.
