Rosen was on the Rusillo show today and he said Hornacek wants to run up and down the court and he doesn't understand why because Melo can't run anymore.

The thing of note in the Rosen interview was that he said no way in hell Phil wanted to buy Melo out so Shamm's theory is probably right.. it was Porzingis who got Phil canned which to me sets a very precarious precedent. You don't want your third year player to be responsible for a president getting canned whether or not it was a good thing or bad thing. Unless he was a Lebron James type talent who can offset poor management because he's so good.

I think you're reading too much into what he said. What do you expect him to say? If management wants melo gone the coach isn't going to say sure I want him.

Melo wants to go to a team with either Lebron or CP3 on it so it will that much easier to undermine management in the future. After all, he's getting older now and needs some help.
