Paul gets to make his cake and eat it too haha he opts in with the Clippers and gets to play in Houston for a year at least. Next year he can choose where he wants to play again.

f it, basketball is already stupid with these super lopsided teams...

then again, CP3, Harden and esp. Melo are ultra-gimme-the-ball players. CP3/Harden will be an interesting combo to watch next year.

This isn't prime Melo we're talking about here. He's been on a steady decline and suffered several injuries over the last few years.

Also, it's one thing to have CP3 speed up his game to fit MDA's style. It's a completely different thing to also have Melo try to be a run-and-gun player.

And didn't Pringle leave the Knicks because he couldn't stand coaching Melo?

Maybe all is forgiven but I don't think it would be as pretty as everyone thinks it would be.

D'Antoni and Melo hate each other. That rumor is hot air to me.

CP and Harden is "intriguing" enough, no way MDA wants ANYTHING to do with Melo.

The backcourt talent is there, but the fit?

No way with Melo

So Harden doesn't want to play PG anymore? Has he matured?

Even if he signs off on this deal, it's still very risky

Can't see Toronto letting him go, unless the Knicks give him a Phil offer...

Good luck, Knicks. Dolan should make the pitch personally, LOL

The one thing that baffles me is why Dolan waited til now to fire Phil. The new GM should have been in place at the draft to select his player. That french kid is going to walk into a land mine if he doesn't develop properly.

From what I read/deduce, Dolan started to get pissed when Phil was thinking about buying out Melo. Sounds like Dolan has a hard-on for Melo, and decided instead of paying Melo to go away, he'd pay Phil to go away. It sounds like this really only happened because of Melo potentially leaving, rather then all the triangle crap and kristaps crap Phil was doing.

Kings would have 21.2 million in cap space AFTER signing bogdanovic to 10M a year. 50 million if they renounce gay and mclemore.

The kings decline their option on mclemore.

i really hope we stay far far away. if a bad team starved for young talent doesnt want to even see what it takes to match him then that says alot

Otto Porter might be out of reach. But idk why Wiz would attempt a sign&trade of Porter for 1 year rental of PG. I don't think George resigns. It's always been LA for him.
